Reaches for the bottle of Roundup
Weeding is done. I’m showered and in non-sweaty clothing. Shortly, I will heat up the leftover hamburger helper from last night.
Another day in paradise!
Happy Thorsday!
I need a nap!
The dog kept us up all night, he wanted out every 15 minutes or so and wouldn’t come back in. He even peed on the kitchen floor. I have no idea what is going on, he has done this before and the vet couldn’t find anything wrong.
Now he is snoring away and I feel like crap.
Good Luck** Baker**
Hey Moooom, you recently reached 32000 posts!
Well that posting rate is gonna sloooooooooooooow a whole lot starting Moanday…
Woud that be the Pubic Sto’ , per chance?
gotti, did your neighbors purchase their home as a foreclosure? Some of the ones around here that I’ve looked at have the previous owner’s [del]junk[/del] belongings still in them.

It’s one of those hurry up and wait days. I’m looking forward to the weekend already.
Took a nap and feel somewhat better.
TV dinner for lunch - Banquet meatloaf. It wasn’t very good but what can I expect for $1?
The dog seems to be back to normal. Old age I guess. he has his good days and his bad days.
Howdy from da cave! My irkweek is over! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I threw a hunk o’ beast in the slow cooker before I left for irk. ‘Tis fallin’ apart tender with a nice brown gravy. Ima whomp up some rice, succotash, and crescent rolls to go with. A nummy dindin in store.
Spidey I am in fact a crotchety old man. It’s the stage one goes through before becomin’ an official grumpy old man which is my goal.
BigKitty if all the purported pieces of “The True Cross” all over Europe were put together, you could see the results worldwide.
That reminds me I need to get hold of Seasonal and see if she wants to do a weekly Who watching. Since she got me hooked on Peter Capaldi and all with last year’s Christmas episode. I love me a crotchety Doctor!

Yes and no. The house was a foreclosure, but was bought by a company that buys foreclosed homes, fixes them up and then rents them. When they did their process to this house, they didn’t leave any trash, so I’m assuming they left no trash at the house across the street.
Dindin has been consumed. 'Twas good if’n I do say so myself. Now it’s chill time. In celebration of my day off tomorrow, I shall go wild and mow!
I had a bowl of cereal for supper. Not at all satisfying. And I’m still hungry.
**FCD **has to go in tomorrow, but he’s going in late, attending his meeting, then coming home, so a short day for him.
I slept pretty well last night, but I’m dragging right now. I see an early bedtime ahead.
I think it’s time to recline and veg the night away. *** MWAH!***
I finished up a story for the mini prompt writing thingie on LJ. Now to let it sit overnight while I fritter the rest of the evening away.
Tahrdness ensues here at da cave. Shortly we shall retire for the evenin’ to watch teevee etc until sleepy time. I told OYKW to please be quiet in the mornin’ as he gets ready for irk so as not to disturb my slumber. He told me he’d do his best but if he feels he’s too noisy he’ll put a pillow over my face. How thoughtful!
Hope things continue well and all the news is this good. Hugs your way as always.

Home from work and packing for the weekend. I’ll need more explosives than I had originally planned on.
(Do I know how to weekend or what?)
You, too need to run over to Marathon and tell them the bad news from Thermopylae.
Hurry, there is not a moment to be lost!
:dubious:
A hundred bucks and they don’t work?
Mose and Aaron on a stick!
