After I signed off last night, I got caught up in a NOVA about mathematics - it was really fascinating! Makes me wish I’d majored in math. Needless to say, I didn’t get to bed early.
Nor did I sleep in, despite turning off the alarm yesterday because **FCD **is working from home. But I was nice, dammit - I closed the curtains (our bedroom window faces east) and locked the door so Taz couldn’t break in. Higgs has been fed and I’m having some me time before our day starts.

**rosie **- I had the very same thought about a serial rapist of women. I swear, the older I get, the more radical a feminist I become. Some men out there are real jerks! I certainly encountered my share working in a male-dominated environment, but mostly I ignored it. Now it pisses me off!!
And please note I didn’t say “all men” - I don’t like making such generalizations, even in jest. OK, deep cleansing breath…
I think today’s the day I finally wash the throw pillows. So there’s some fun ahead.

Got woken up at 1:45. It’s now 4:36, haven’t been able to sleep. This sucks.
I have all Novas set to record, I hope it caught that mathematics episode. My major was Applied Mathematics, it sounds like it’ll be interesting.

Back from McBreakfast, just because. That’s what old people do in Leonardtown - they get breakfast at McD’s and sit there eating and gossiping.
**FCD **is in the basement working on the counter. I’ve got 5 throw pillows in the wash - with luck, the cat urine will go down the drain and a day in fresh air and sunshine will make them useable again!
And the cat box is clean, so there’s that, too! Good times!

It’s nice to be able to open the door to let the dog out and not be hit with a blast of frigid air.

Yeah, the sig comes in below the line if you elect to show it. I gotta say, I’m glad they don’t allow animated gifs in sigs here. I’ve visited boards where that is allowed and it makes me stabby!!!

I would NEVER have an animated sig. I hates them I do!!! I also hate noise, so when I play computer games, I always mute them. Seriously, do you need the sound of tiles in Scrabble?? Or the flipping of cards in solitaire? Silence is truly golden!
