what year Suburban? do the lights dim at all when you attempt to start it?
Well, skool’s off. For two days. Just got an email.
Luckily, this does mean I have time to go out and buy some Blues CDs, because I don’t think I have any.
We haven’t had so much as a snowflake yet.
Jazz?
My CD collection is pretty limited actually; suspicious metal, 90’s pop and some classical. MP3s came along and ruined it, just as I was in my teens.
I’ll have to check that. It’s a 2007.
Dibs on the '90s. I might be interested in the suspicious metal, but I’d need more detail.
Getting there should be no problem then. Stopping at the bottom of the hill &/or getting home back up the hill might be concerns, though.
Why do you need more detail? Are you suspicious of what it is?
Posting during lunch; Mooommm’s almost ready to go home.
Ruble, do you know of Raymond the Amish Comic? If so, is he worth seeing?
I suggested we all just bring tents, then we can camp out in the heated greenhouses, if it actually snows. There’s food. There’s even beer on site. Everyone else is a bunch of boring meanies though, and I’m not allowed
Home. Supper will be various and sundry leftovers. I foresee an early bedtime. But it’s sunny, so there’s that.
A little while back I called the aarp and asked to be removed from their mailing list.
I just got my third bill and set of membership cards.
They don’t quit.
It’s been a somewhat irritating day today.
But I got the doctor appointment straightened out and the pharmacy just sent a text that my prescriptions are ready, so that is done.
I didn’t get the crepe myrtle done because irk was busy and I stayed past my log out time.
I feel like I am moving in slow motion all the time, it seems to take so long to get stuff done anymore.
Blurf. Home from irk. It’s back to the mainland tomorrow for what I hope will be the last ENT appointment. I guess he will probably use the sinus vacuum cleaner again. I nearly passed out last time. Maybe I will this time.
Blurf
We have a fairly new restaurant here call The Bucktooth Rooster and the food is pretty good. I am hopeful we can just do take out tonight as I do not want to cook and clean. I could use an early bedtime. My Dr. appt is at 11 am which means we need to leave no later than 0730. That’s in case we run into any traffic. This assumes that hubs will go with me. He probably will.
We have supped and laundry is all laundered. That was my adultin’ for the day. Also I have a dozen and a half aigs boiled and peeled. Tomorrow they will become aig sallit to take to the church house for soup ‘n sammich time. I guess y’all figured out I’m makin’ aig sallit sammiches.
The Volvo won’t start now either. And the battery drained real quick… I hope I don’t have to spend the vacation money replacing it.
Nut, I’ll take the metal, even if it is suspicious.
doggio, did your hockey player’s parents hate him from birth? He doesn’t even have the excuse of a married name.
My second shift cycle counters found the phones that I was looking for. Yay! I also wrote a section of the CAR to follow and if it is approved, we may find another $100K of lost inventory.
Time for KP then messing around in the studio.
Butters how is hurricane clean up going down your way? Are things starting to feel a bit more normal? I remember after the last big earthquake in the Bay Area that we still had vacant lots where buildings had come down more than 10 years later. Sometimes it takes a while to recover.
If you have a transponder key, and absolutely nothing is happening when you try to start it, it could be the key itself or the coil by the ignition which “reads” the key.
The March groceries are bought and stored, the closet wall is painted (badly, but who’s going to look?) and got my March spending cash from the bank. I also agreed to help out the soccer league by getting the 10U boys and girls evaluated and organized; so another 130 kids to worry about.
Who ordered this?
It was unusually warm here today. May see some snow or rain in the next few days. Some of our snow has melted.
My Summer vacation will be driving my baby 1400 miles away to college and moving her into a dorm in mid-August…
But in September we are going to enjoy our child free existence and go to England
And I finished the part time stupid contract I had, so I’m back to being a trophy wife…gives me more time to vacation.
Dunno. But not the worst name I’ve heard. There was a girl at my high school named “Happy Hussy”:dubious:
