And is one of the reasons I left.
Don’t forget putting the “u” in “colour” and the second “i” in “aluminium”
Maybe we can move them to an active volcano and hope for an explosion
My mom’s from central Oregon and owns property in Grant county. She said there were 400 people at these town meetings, which is unheard of in John Day. I said “Oh so you mean everyone in town was there?”
She wrote a letter of support to the city government to keep them out, for what it’s worth.
The Aryan Nation or the United Nations?
You want the stupid blown into the stratosphere so it can drift downwind and settle across the country?
The UN issue in Grant County is about the creation of a UN World Heritage Site.
The Aryan Nation is trying to preserve its own heritage.
Therefore . . .
But do we really need to set aside a place to preserve stupidity as part of our heritage? It doesn’t seem to be in short supply everywhere else.
I think I heard about this - presumably, the land values are cheap.
Nitpick: it’s Aryan Nations, not The Aryan Nation.
I hadn’t thought of that. It could be contagious
In Joel Garreau’s Nine Nations of North America analysis, western Oregon – west of the watershed of the Cascades – is part of “Ecotopia” (the whole coastal Pacific Northwest from San Francisco to Anchorage) while eastern Oregon is part of “The Empty Quarter” (what everyone thinks of as “the West,” or at least that part of the West north of “Mexamerica”). The key difference is that Ecotopia has a lot more water. Why that should make such a big cultural difference I do not know.
Dehydration makes you psycho?
