I’m talking about this thread and this thread. The first is the most recent Mac vs. PC debate from several months ago (March), and the latter is from the current thread about Windows XP.

Chas.E, in both threads you’ve insulted me and generally acted like an asshole, and I’m calling you out.

To start, on the first page in the Mac vs. PC thread, you were telling biased, incorrect, and nonfactual information. I, among others, called you on this. You then proceeded to spew your bullshit until I came across your reference to arguing with a teenager. When I mentioned that I was, at the time, a 17 year old and not a computer professional, you provided these two gems:

Game Over, dood. You can try again when you grow up and graduate from high school.

and

You might make big milage with your 1337 HaX0r d00d buddies with your line of mac bashing, but so far you’ve only proven your immaturity.

This started the process of insulting me. Not only did you make references to me being a hacker, YOU of all people called me immature. I suggest you look up the definition of that term before you think about using it.

I question your reasoning behind dismissing my arguments based on my age, and you said:

Not only is this a stupid ass statement, you follow it up with this:

I’m sure everyone with an IQ greater than that of a goldfish can see where this is headed. Obviously, this has proven very difficult for you, so I’ll continue.

If someone is an obvious troll, and can cite only information from paid PC propagandists like CNet (paid for by Intel) then I’ll give it the consideration it deserves: none. After all, that’s the consideration my argument is getting from the little trolls, despite scrupulously accurate web cites, patent docs, etc etc.

You proceed to call me a Troll (twice more) without ANY sort of logical evidence, which is against board policy in the first place, and you do it in the wrong forum! And you insist that I’m the one being immature?

Now, after this incident in the Mac vs. PC debate, I asked for an apology. A simple apology for insulting me. But what do you do? You dropped out from the thread, and what do you know…the thread is continued in a civil manner! This implies that you are the ignorant asshole responsible for sidetracking a good debate into an insulting pissmatch.

You continue your own humiliation in the Windows XP thread. You continue to make stupid, illogical statements using cites that contain some factual information, then drift into assumptions and possibilities, and you treat those assumptions as fact. You also continue to insult me and further accuse me of being a hacker, although you did seem to evolve one evolutionary level and stopped calling me a troll.

He obviously has an old leaked beta that does not have XP’s current feature set. Why is it that all the other reviewers know about these features but he doesn’t? Perhaps it is because those reviewers are REAL beta testers with access to the latest official builds, rather than 1337 haX0rs with dodgy pirated software?

So, you immediatly accuse me of having acquired a hacked beta without any information that would even hint of it. You continue in that post:

After this, I again ask for an apology. You being the asshole that you are, refuse to provide one. What’s the matter? Not able to admit that you’re wrong? You coward. You simply say:

No apologies warranted? You’ve continued to attack me simply because I disagree with you, and you feel you don’t owe me a simple fucking apology? What kind of disgrace of a human being are you?

Now, many poster’s have declared that you owe me an apology, but you, being the asshole I have proven you to be, still refuse to even acknowledge that you have insulted me.

No apology is owed, and none will be forthcoming. I did not make any assumptions about anyone’s character or actions, I made OBSERVATIONS about their character and actions based on their immature behavior. Everything they have done since that initial observation has only confirmed my opinion.

After this, you drop out for a while until the end of page 3, where you continue to make assumptions about me without knowing anything about me.

Let me put things in a different light. By your own admission, you are a minor. Minors are unable to legally enter into contracts. You had to sign a nondisclosure agreement to join the MS beta program. If you did so without your parents’ signature as well, you committed fraud. Did you ask your mommy for her signature when you sent in the MS paperwork? I doubt it.

Although when I signed up for the beta I was 17, I have since turned 18. 2) No signatures or contracts were necessary to sign up for the beta, and I only had to agree to the EULA contained in the beta to use the product, so I therefor did not commit fraud. 3) HOW THE FUCK WOULD YOU KNOW IF I ASKED MY MOM IF SHE CONSENTED? She gave me her credit card to order it!

So, as I said, you fraudulently obtained an old beta.

So, as I have proven, I did not fraudulently obtain the beta (Which is the only current non-technical beta available to the public right now).

Now give up this stupid harassment. I’m not going to apologize to you no matter how much you harass me.

Monster104 is correct. Chas.E, you really do owe him some sort of an honest apology.

And, generally speaking, fuck this “computer professional” and “only 17 years old” shit. Monster104 has shown he knows enough about PCs/OS’s/software/hardware that I would hire him, were it possible.

I have participated in several threads with this Chas.E. He contributes nothing except his completely pathetic and too-often repeated Windows rantings which always manage to evolve (devolve?) into personal insults. I have always thought of him as a whiny little bastard unworthy of anyone’s time.

I’ll have to chime in on this one, and agree(as I did in the XP thread), Chas E., you owe him an apology. You have repeatedly accused him of criminal and un-ethical behavior, totally without any basis in fact. And as for his age, I have been working in the computer field of and on for his entire lifespan, but I still run into people his age who know what they are doing as well as the old timers (like myself). In a field where things change as quickly as they do, nothing I learned 10 years ago is realy all that aplicable today. To say something like you said about his age, shows me that you don’t know what the hell your talking about, or your just too frightened that your becoming obsolete. Grow up, be an adult, and apologize.
