Err, why not? Isn’t part of the framework (for lack of a better word) of the series that non-kitchen utensile cylons resemble humans down to the submicroscopic level? If Helo can impregnate Athena, why couldn’t Cally be impregnated by the Chief?
Nick may very well be another hybrid (in which case he’s likely destined to be Hera’s mate), but the Cylons made a huge deal over Hera. It’s clear none of their other breeding programs worked. And I just don’t think Baltar is the final Cylon. It’d just be to big of a cop out. I don’t think Roslin’s it either, unless Cylons can turn off their magic blood cells whenever it suits them. And if Kara was a Cylon why wouldn’t it have actually been Leoben in her visions instead of “someone else” using his form?
Don’t think it can be prior to 1967, when Dylan did the song. Unless he’s the final Cylon, and Jim Morrison saacrifices himself to save humanity…

This lends credence to the BSG is set in the far future and Colonials have their history messed up theory. Of course it could just mean the universal translator in our TVs kicking in . Colonial Day had Fly Me to the Moon in it.
And why the heck are people worshiping Baltar? What do they know that we don’t?
Why should the Colonials be anymore rational than Earthlings in deciding who/what to worship?
Heh…Bet he’d get a huge standing ovation if he gave her the neck twist…but not before we see her naked, dammit!
I haven’t seen Nicki Clyne’s naked body, but I lean toward the view that underneath that potato sack uniform is a potato sack body. YMMV
The one I want to see naked is Dualla, and I’m not particular about the reason why or whether it advances the plot.
Because we’ve been led to believe Cylons can’t reproduce with each other. That’s why Hera was such a big deal…
But Cally isn’t a cylon, is she?

Well RDM is a straight male, so it’s not out of the realm of possiblity that he’d have the entire series lead up to her emerging naked from a tub of goo. At least with Anders we finally got a hot male Cylon . Now if only he could get into Lee’s head .
It was the lawyer’s cane – he set it against the wall, and walked away without it, all significant-like.
It was right after he explained that, unlike himself, Lee Adama is an honest man. The fact the lawyer ditched his cane is meant to suggest that he was exaggerating his injury during the trial, to make himself seem more sympathetic.
One more distraction. Anybody know of a name definition/ethnic origin site? Because I have never met a “Tahmoh”.
Tahmoh’s mother is White River First Nation from the Yukon Territory in Canada. That’s likely the source of his name.
I wonder if “we’re all Cylons” means just those four, or everybody?
Definitely earth there at the end, and the camera swooped out of the galaxy then back in on earth, so no wormhole from our perspective. But how Starbuck got there and back I don’t know. Cylon FTL technology is pretty good, but Lords of Kobol FTL could easily be able to jump from anywhere to anywhere, couldn’t it?

When you “make shit up as you go along”, anything is possible.

Sorry for the double post, but I figured out why that looked so darn familair; the credits in Time Bandits.

I was thinking of the ending to MIB II, but we didn’t zoom out far enough.
Interesting that Lee chased Starbuck into something that looked vaguely like the storm from Maelstrom, and that he’s isolated from the rest of the Vipers. Don’t remember anyone confirming his unidentified Dradis contact. Also wondering why Dradis was unable to identify what appeared to be a shiny-and-definitely-not-blown-to-hell viper…
