AnyWhoo! I just got “fixed”, haven’t really slept since surgery, am finally peeing, feeling a little on the good side. Moved over to OTC pain relief. But my sinuses are driving me to distraction. I am unable to lie down comfortably because my Post Nasal Drip is right now more like a faucet tap.

Welcome, Java, I hope you weren’t too badly broken that you needed fixing. This is truly the home of TMI though, but you will have to work hard at it if you’re going to out-TMI swampy.
I had a hugely busy weekend and the good news is that I have shiny new boots now! The shopping trip to Shrewsbury was very successful and today I am stomping around the office in said new boots. We also went to our favourite jewellery shop and I picked up some lovely silver and amethyst earrings for my mother for her birthday.
'im indoors ruined my weekend completely by not going to Scotland on Saturday, and on the flimsiest of excuses too. It had something to do with the journey being an hour or so longer and having to change at Crewe. If he’s not gone by the time I get home, I will be looking for a well-frozen trout to hit him with.

Instead, I have two beast roasts in a slow cooker and a small ham in another slow cookin’ away for later dindins this week or next week. I figure, since I’m home might as well do some cookin’ stuff. Also, I am meetin’ OYKW for lunch. Thus is today’s plan.

I was supposed to attend a meeting on our nw health plan, but since we’re getting a slow moving front coming through, I’m gonna stay home. They’re calling for 3-4" of rain, and flash floods everywhere.

I have been a slacker all weekend. Yesterday I stayed outta the way of Mr Rebo - he is not a happy camper when doing plumbing chores. Our garbage disposal died and was leaking water very badly, so he replaced it.
I did do laundry and picked up some groceries, though!

Blurf. Went to bed too late. Woke up tired. Feeling immeasurably blurf at the moment, waiting for the caffeine to start kicking in. May have to ride the Bull when the coffee truck comes by a little later if the coffee doesn’t do the trick.
System is ready for the remainder of installations and crap, since all the mucking about with hardware is done. Now it’s just gonna be installing stuff for the next week or two in order to get it back to somewhere approaching where it was. The good thing though is that once I get there I should be good for a nice long while; the system is upgraded to current modern spec, the OS is brand spankin’ new, so I should have no need to go through this pain in the arse again for a couple of years yet.
Weather’s decent, but the fact that this week is going to be fairly mild is going to be tempered by the fact that it’s also going to be fairly wet. Just can’t win with the weather this year.
Java - Welcome to the MuMP! Congrats on being fixed. Now just try to avoid getting broken again. Runny noses definitely suck however, and since I am still getting over a cold (nearly three weeks now) I have recent familiarity with it … and with heavy doses of NyQuil to get it to stop.

I was a busy lady this weekend. Saturday the Princess[sup]TM[/sup] and I went to the Veg Fest where Lil Lestat and some of his friends were fixing bicycles for free. He walked around the fest with us and I felt like I was with a celebrity. EVERYONE wanted to talk with him. Who knew I raised Mr. Popularity? I also had some faaaaaaabulous vegan pumpkin ice cream.
On Sunday I made my prize-winning* eggplant parmesan. Og, it was good! 
Worth the all-day process it takes to make it.
Now I’m back at work.
