It’s the one thing (okay there are more than one) I will make for him Nettie. I don’t know why but as much as I hate making them and hate the way they smell, I feel like its a love thing.
I may try some cinnamon next time Big Kitty
I think I saw a recipe once where you dip apple rings into pancake batter and fry them that way. That might be good. I have an apple fritter recipe that calls for ale and I wonder if I could use champagne instead? I still have the bottle that was a gift from the settlement company.
Did I mention I have a big bag of apples I need to use?
We’re missing a bag of dog food from the grocery trip, but he’s not sure if he got it or not. He may have left it in the back of the truck. We’ll wait until it’s light outside and go check the truck, and if we didn’t get it I’ll need to call the store.
Countdown to snowmageddon!!! Or is it snowpocalypse? The last weather map I saw had us near the border of the band of lesser accumulation - one can hope.
Meanwhile, I just work till 2:30 today, then home to pick up the truck and hunker down for the weekend.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. I should also purtify somewhat. I can be a slob all day but I guess I don’t have to be a dirty slob.
It’s cold out, very cold, and it looks like snow. Very grey out.
Today is a day just like any other day. SSDD as always.
I’m not offended he said they are tasteless, I agree with him. I know there are lots of pancake lovers out there, but I don’t understand the love. Not for pancakes, not for funnel cake, not for anything that is basically bread with sugar on top.
Pittsburgh is in a complete state of panic and what we expect is 2-6 inches over 24 hours. Heck, where and when I grew up we figured anything under an inch an hour was flurries. And everyone still made it to work. :smack: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIGKITTY!!!
