That was priceless. AFF is definitely willing to play on either team.
Considering her reaction to Zack last season, I got the feeling she isn’t attracted to nerds. I don’t recall her putting any moves on Bernadette.
That is hard to say. I’m not familiar with the mating rituals of primatologists.
That just proves she’s discerning.
The chicken dance was amusing, as well as Sheldon’s descent into HO hell.
I think she is really HOT for Howard, as odd as it seems…between her references to him walking around in tight hoochie pants and they way she showered him with gifts as soon as she got money…he’s her boy toy.
Yeah, I agree. You wouldn’t think Sheldon would have awareness of the emotional subleties that make this an insult.
Sheldon’t best insults are the result of him having no emotional awareness.
I was waiting for Sheldon to use his science background to create a microscopic train set. I liked when Sheldon had created the glow-in-the-dark fish.
I think it is the writers getting in a cute laugh without thinking how it affects the overall character arc, and the producer not knowing about this incident or caring. Sheldon is the most asexual character ever on television, including Spock. Everybody but AFF seems to accept that.
I thought that the two Mrs. Woloritz’s screaming match was actually a conversation carried on at a distance.
The superhero one definitely has specificity: Leonard: “I initialed another clause naming you my sidekick in case I get superpowers.” - that’s not generic. From that same episode, we have a direct quote from the agreement:
Sheldon: I beg to disagree. “A girlfriend shall be deemed quote living with un-quote Leonard when she has stayed over for A, ten consecutive nights or B, more than nine nights in three week period or C: all the weekends of a given month plus three weeknights. Again, specificity - no mention of Sheldon there.
That’s because he knows that
a) Leonard is never gonna get super powers and
b) he (Sheldon) will never have a girlfriend
so why bother writing it in the agreement?
Mayim Bialik’s facebook page is indeed very cute - I like how she plugs the same song from a Jewish a cappella group about 10 times in a row.
As I said last week: the thing where they turn Bernadette into Howard’s mother is getting tedious. Howard and the interaction with his mother was amusing in very small doses.
Coupled with a sort of ‘when in Rome’ aspect. Bernadette is starting to understand that yelling is the only communication Mrs. Wolowitz understands, and it’s the only way to deal with being around her.
Exactly.
I just started watching this show since they started running it in syndication just last week on mutiple channels (FOX, TBS, WGN, etc.) so I’ve been able to watch it from the beginning. I resisted when it first came on because I saw the commercials for it and my only thought was this.
But it’s a pretty good show.
