ok - the new MMP has been tweaked, and will probably appear between 7 am and 8 am (unless I find myself with insomnia) EDST
Oho! AND I finished another paper, too! Yippee <Snoopy dance> Ha! Now all I have is one more project for one class and one more paper for my other class.
<throws confetti>
Off to try my new bike (finally).
Home from work. I’m all sleepy. After lunch (Indian Buffet) I went into a food coma for an hour. So much food.
And now I’m sleepy again, and trying to decide if I can take a prenatal without vomiting. I hate my prenatal vitamins. They always make me want to puke. Maybe I’ll just have some folic acid and be brave tomorrow. I’ve had a good, vegetable and protein rich, balanced diet today.
Vitamins are good for you and baby, LiLi. Even if they make you feel like puking. You can take them! :: Does quick cheer. ::
Well, by the time I made it inside it was too late to eat anything substantial. So I ate a few bites of miscellaneous stuff and will make up for all of this at breakfast.
I’ll write the recipe down when I make it (I don’t think I actually have it written down anywhere), swampy, and share it in the next MMP.
I’ve edited my pics from this afternoon (I took more than 100  ) and am ready to crawl into bed.
See everyone in the next MMP!
GT
Well, hell, maybe this time I can make a reply that y’all will see. The one I typed up thirty minutes ago never made it. GRRRRRRRRRR
rigs yay for you! You have learned from my naggin’! I also trust that now you understand the purpose of grad school is to make you suffer.
Yep, I’m still up. If I were working tonight, my shift would have ended two minutes ago. I’m makin’ an effort to transform myself from an early bird to an… ummm… I guess not night owl but whatever kinda bird gets up mid afternoon and stays up til late evenish. Is there such a bird or are we second shifters just so weird we defy birddom?
Oh well, off to do other stuff. See most of y’all in the new MMP!
Lookin’ forward to the N.O.T. salad recipe gt.
I’m kind of a second-shifter, Swampy; by choice, I get up as late as I can get away with and do my best work in the afternoon and evening (although I still like a nap about 1:30 every afternoon – not that I get to take one very often these days, but I napped along with my kids for so many years that I stayed in the habit even after they outgrew it!). So I understand what you’re trying to do; for me the equivalent would be trying to adjust to a shift like Papa Tigs works, 6 am to 3 pm. (Well, theoretically 3 pm.) Upsetting circadian rhythms is no fun!
Thanks for the votes for Tori. I went back and did a global change, so it’s all consistent now, and it looks right, too. I just wasn’t satisfied with my first choice, Torrie, but Papa Tigs gave me T-o-r-i-i, which is how you spell the Japanese gate, and that was just totally weird, and Alice wasn’t here to give me a sensible second opinion. You guys, strange as it may sounds, can actually be sensible at times! :dubious:
See y’all in the new MMP!
BioTigs a sure sign that the meds ain’t workin’ is when the MMP makes sense.
Personally, I could do better with PapaTigs 6 a.m. - 3 p.m than second shift, but, for the right money, and trust me, this is the right money, I can adjust. I took a long nap this afternoon just so I could be awake right now, even though I kinda feel myself fadin’ away. Ideally adjustin’ my sleep time to around twoish in the a of m will probably be ideal. For now, I’m just proud I’m still awake now.
So, where are the late night/already tomorrow cool kids when I need 'em!
My very lovely friends went to Canada, and they brought me some Timbits. I’ve eaten way too many Timbits. I’ll have to save the rest for breakfast tomorrow.
gt, the NOT salad sounds yummy. I never thought about putting basil in the potato salad, which is weird, because I put it in almost everything else (except desserts–I’ll have to work on that). I love basil. I was lazy, and I didn’t go to the farmer’s market yesterday. There’s one on Wednesday, but I usually forget about it. Maybe this week. I need some veggies. Cucumbers and corn and tomatoes and basil. I need to find more friends with gardens, so I can get free veggies.
dotty, I hope Noor has a better day tomorrow! Something must be going around–a lot of MMP-ers are throwing up. I think it started with LiLi…
swampy, 2 am is about the right time for me to go to bed. Not tonight, though. I need to get up a little earlier tomorrow, so I won’t stay up that late.
Magi hee! You like to put this in your food???
Ok, I think I ain’t gonna make the 2 a.m. goal. Gettin’ sleepified big time here.
O.K… gonna go pee then Ima go to bed. Can’t stay awake longer…
See Y’all in BioRosie’s MMP!
Nitey Nite Y’all!
2 am is about my normal going-to-sleep time, although I usually am in bed by about 1:30 and take a half an hour or so to read, just because. I have so little uninterrupted reading time during the day, that’s my best time for it.
But normally, even though I’m up at this hour, I’m also trying to get the work done I shilly-shallied on all day. So I’m not spending as much time on the intarweb as I am actually being a good girl. Which I’ve been doing tonight, but some jobs are just so annoying that I continue to shilly-shally even with a deadline looming.
I’m not sure Basil would appreciate being put in the salad. Although I’m sure his charming wife would have something to say about it. I can hear her piercing voice now. Just like I do every Saturday at 11 pm.
Wait, wait! I’m here.
But I saw in your next post, you’re already peed and left. Harumph!
Everyone always leaves the party just when I get started.
OK, well, I’d better mosey off to bed also.
rosie, I’m looking forward to the new MMP.
Special1, gooooood morning! I’m feeling pretty cheery tonight. I had a throbbing vein in the back of my head all day, but now that’s it’s cooled off, it seems to have subsided, so yay!
Have a great day! I’ll see you in the next MMP.
**
Mamatigs,** good evening to you too. I didn’t know you were a night owl.
I’m a hideous night owl, Heffaroo. It’s a bit inconvenient at times, but I’ve accepted it and try my darnedest not to let Papa Tigs’ early bird ways disrupt my favorite hours of sleep, which are between 6 am and 9 am. He doesn’t understand me at all. Of course, I don’t understand him, either, so I guess we’re even.
But I really am off to bed pretty quick here – I’m fading rapidly, and also getting so heartily sick of this attorney who talks too damn fast. Time to get some sleep and try again tomorrow, in the new MMP.
That’s probably why you get along so well. It’s when you think you have the other person figured out is when the problems start.
Sleep well.
Hey, so many people still awake here!
Good night, Roo! Glad your headache has subsided
And Good Morning, **Tigs **(and anybody else still visiting here)
See you all in the next MMP! **Rosie **-- looking forward to it!
ETA: Page 12… how chatty were we this week? :o
Y’all head on over to Rosie’s marvelous Theatro-Literary Thread, now!
