I got ran outta da kitchen. Partner is in there mixin’ up some fruit punch. I tasted it and said it’s kinda weak for hunch punch. He told me to go away. The noive! 
Just finished processing peaches - I’ve got 4 cups chopped and ready for jamming, and 2 bags with 3 sliced peaches each. I think I’ll get some more this week.
Time to close the house and turn on the air. Dammit.

Knoebels and the normal side of the family were great. Still bleeding from one of the bumper car hits; we didn’t break any cars but we managed to cut and scrape up each other a bit. Now to check around here and maybe grab a nap.

Everywhere I went today, traffic sucked. I missed my lecture because, while I was running pretty close, I didn’t realize that I-40 and I-65 were closed downtown. Had I realized that, I would have taken US 70 in. As it stood, I would have missed half of it, so it was on to shopping. Where traffic sucked just as badly. Now I’m inside, where it’cool, having lunch. I may take off for the country on the bike later.
Well, I’m losing it. I’ve spent the last several hours thinking today’s Sunday. It’s not.
Just ordered lasagna and salads from our favorite pizza delivery place. Yay for no cooking!! Boo for only having a $20, so I’m going to have to put the tip on the VISA, or give the delivery person a handful of quarters. I may go with the quarters…
I opened that link and was very disappointed that it was not this song. I would say something about uncool old people, but I’ve been working with an 18-year-old for the last few days so I’ve been feeling rather **elderly **myself. We had to explain mimeograph to her the other day. But she did know about Whose Line Is It Anyway, so she’s not all bad.

I’d forgotten how good Pizza Hotline’s lasagna was, or how HUGE!! We’ve got at least 3 more meals from it. Plus it came with cheesy bread, and we got salads. Yummy meal with more yummy meals to follow.
The rest of the night will be spent chilling and knitting in front of the TV. Good times…

OK, not really. I am a buzzed bear however. I was righteously feted and celebrated by a buncha good friends. We had some good munchies out by the cee-mint pond and per my request dindin was slawdawgs and chips. Plus ice cream cake. One of the highlights was lookin’ up the number one hit on the day we were born. Mine was [. So, everyone except JDD and Partner are gone. I knew they would imbibe a bit more than acceptable to drive so I told them from the get go they WOULD spend the night. I have to say that OYKW, JDD, and Partner did a bang up job of throwin’ a bday soiree for da bear.
Now why would they make me wear my Sunday Go To Meetin’ hat at the cee-mint pond?
