As someone who has posted a lot of complaints about the search timer reset glitch, I want to thank those who did the work. The boards are running better now than they have for ages.

However, every time I search the SDMB through Google, I am logged out because it’s not “boards.straightdope.com/…” but “x.boards.straightdope.com/…” (substitute “x” with anything you get). Usually it’s “senegoid.straightdope.com”, but just now, I even got a wacky number in the place of “senegoid”.
It’s not working for me. I can hardly get in and then I get kicked out. 
Yeah, we added that to the program specifically for you. We’ve had about enough of your shit, Becky.
Maybe that’s because Senegoid is one wacky number?

Okay, we’re about 2½ days Post-Crisis now, and pretty much everything seems to be going well. So, the recent posts above are mentioning some sporadic glitches. Likewise, I had one instance of couldn’t-log-in earlier today. But hey, that’s not even in the same ballpark as this time last week!
Can you tell us something about what transpired? Have you swapped in some new hardware already, or did you just do a data re-build so far?
You’ve told us earlier that this re-build would be followed by updates or re-builds or whatever on various slave servers over the next few days. What is the status of that? It seems that whatever Jerry did last Friday has substantially fixed things. So are you done? Or still going to do more work on it? Where do the sporadic glitches of the last two days fit into your grand scheme of things?
Do you keep your hamsters working with carrots or sticks? Were very many of them replaced? Have you upgraded to a newer version of Genetically Modified Monster Hamsters?

The Board keeps sticking for me tonight. It will take a minute or longer to open a link – thread, forum, anything – then snap back to normal, then stick again.
