Thanks everyone for the supportive thoughts. It is indeed tough when one of our fur-babies starts to decline, but at least we can be confident that COC lived a very good life. His diet has changed to whatever he wants to eat, I will be eating salmon much more often and when he is having more bad days than good ones we will both cry as we take him for that last vet visit.

I read further and dang about the diesel. I never knew it marine diesel was red before.
Even so, there were probably more than one bruise that happened while folks were trying to get out of the way, cause storms like that can come up so fast.

Thanks! I have decided that I am not looking back more than 7 years. I’m not finding evidence of wrong doing, I’m finding evidence of really bad record keeping and major suspicions of underreported donations. It is a 501c3 non-profit, so doesn’t pay the IRS taxes, but they have to report income all the same.
The CLCA is also holding several very nice pieces of unimproved property that could be sold for a nice amount and a bunch of worthless lots that they should just give back to the county rather than paying property taxes for them every year.
I found a stinkin’ baseball field that nobody knew about. How the heck does anyone lose a baseball field? It is fenced and has a backstop and bases and benches. From the looks of it, nobody has run those baselines for many years.

Wow, did he make them from scratch? They can be kinda tricky to make look pretty and I’ve never got the hang of cutting them evenly. I tried the dental floss trick I saw on a baking show and must say that it worked much better in my mind than in reality.

I’m still not used to having a high bed either. Hubs used to like it a lot but now COC can’t jump on the bed and he used to be hub’s head warmer at night. We put a box by the back of the bed to see if COC would use that, but he hasn’t seemed to understand why it was there.
