Celebrity Apprentice 2011

I just caught the show last night. This was just not a good episode. The men clearly had the better executed idea and drew more interest from the crowd. The fact that the corporate peole didn’t like pirates sucks for Sugar Ray, but it really shouldn’t matter. The women’s design was unorganized and boring. They should have lost just for the simple fact that Hope wasn’t in a bikini.

Overall, this season is not nearly as fun as last season. I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe the blatant favoritism to Busey or the constant uninteresting bicker amongst the ladies. I will say, however, that before this season I had no idea who John Rich was, but he has really impressed. So has Lil John.

I don’t think so. Trump’s going to keep that pile of crazy around for the spectacle.

Also, I’m getting tired of the LaToya hate. Why does Nene seem to think she’s such a bad ass, and is so much more with-it and sharp than LaToya is? She accused LaToya of riding on her last name, but lacking actual skills, whereas Nene is… I’m sorry - what is it that you’re good at again, reality housewife that no one has even heard of? Get over yourself.

You know, I actually kind of like Latoya, too. She was not great as PM, but did enough to avoid a loss. There just might be a little more substance to her than what we think. Trump likes her, too.

I also like NeNe only because I think she’s the only woman left who will tell Star to shove it.

As much as the decision this week was one of Trump’s worst, I really don’t feel all that bad. McGrath was a pretty terrible PM. Every project like that needs a period of brainstorming. We might not have seen it (the editing is so bad on this show), but McGrath definitely shut the discussion down once Busey started offering an opposing view to the pirates. And once he did that, he started looking for reasons to justify his decision.

To paraphrase Richard Hatch - he’s a nice enough guy, but in the end, everyone has to go. McGrath never seemed like he had a chance to beat Rich/John/Starr, so might as well end his run here. At least Busey has a win under his belt.

Not sure why I didn’t include Matlin in there. She’s clearly a contenda.

No kidding. Matlin is hard core. My original thought as Star was going to take it home, no questions asked. She has the primadonna attitude that’s great for ratings which will keep her around, but she’s also competent and savvy which could earn her the win. Marlee, though, has proven to be a tough cookie, plus she’s better liked which counts for something.

Am I the only one who does not find Hope all that attractive? I mean yes she is attractive compared to the general population, but in terms of Playmate/Celebrity attractiveness she is way down the scale.

Busey. Yikes.

Celebrity Apprentice meets Celebrity Mole. Busey edition.

Busey and Charlie Sheen need to develop their own TV show.

Did Busey make a remark about the digestive track during his story about the anniversary?

Don’t you ever’ah call me boy!!

Poor John Rich. It’s kind of sad seeing such a gentleman turned into a raging stud. I guess all his buttons got pushed this time. It’s hard to believe these guys fell apart like this. They all need a ruler to see who has the biggest pecker.

At this point I’m hoping the men lose. Just to get rid of Busey.

The women’s presentation sucked too. I have no idea who wins this train-wreck.

Hope really did impress me. I think the interesting thing that she was concerned with was being taken seriously because she’s so young, rather than fighting any sort of Playboy bunny stereotype. She’s got a really good head on her shoulders - she’s been pretty quiet up until now, but there have been some big personalities, so quiet isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Especially if you can step up when you need to.

And “Poker Night” was brilliant. Just brilliant.

Free at last. Free at last.

When three really classy gentlemen are pushed to the point that they can barely speak coherently something has to give. It’s amazing there wasn’t fists flying in this one. It was a culmination of weeks of frustration and pent up anger.

C’boy? C’boy? Whoa.

Yes, yes he did.

Trump: “Do you think Gary will hurt to the men’s team going forward?”

Did he seriously ask that? Is he functionally retarded?

If anyone is from Texas, can you tell me if that’s how they pronounce Cowboy as in Dallas Cowboys? And why aren’t they mixing up the teams?

Until tonight, nobody, from anywhere, ever, has said “c’boy”.

Well, he’s a birther, so…yes. Yes he is.

No political commentary in a thread about a TV show, pls. There are other threads where you can discuss this.

Thanks,
