I have to agree with Johnny. This was a complete bs decision.
Trump should have fired one person on the losing team. Then called everybody back in and fired the two weakest players. I think thats been done in prior seasons to trim the cast before the semi final.
No way. It’s been obvious since the first episode that no matter what Geraldo does, Trump wants him in the finale, and that his opponent was either going to be Ian or Leeza.
I have a feeling the next episode will start with Vivica getting fired so Trump can hurry up and get his final already. I like Vivica, but it’s clear Trump wants Geraldo in that final. And Leeza is just way too strong. She should win.
I’ve heard and read stories about Geraldo’s ego and attitude for over 30 years. He was constantly battling his bosses on 20/20 and ABC news in the late 70’s and 80’s. He’s been a talk show host for the past 20 years since leaving ABC.
I see now that its all true. The guy is the most self centered, control freak that I’ve ever seen. His creative ideas have been terrible in just about all the challenges. I’ve never seen a worse semi finalist on Celeb Apprentice. I just can’t believe Trump let this guy into the semi-final.
Contrast that with Leeza’s calm and teamwork oriented management style. She’s somebody I’d enjoy working for.
Never can tell what will happen. I was impressed with how Leeza is leading her team. Not letting little things like people goofing off on the roller coaster distract her. None of that will matter if the big shots don’t like her promo campaign. But I think her superior management style should give her the best shot at winning.
btw, didn’t it seem like the producers wanted those two to ride the roller coaster? The video of them on the roller coaster was a great promo spot for Trump’s park. Not to mention showing the beer and hot dog stand. NBC is really helping promote Trump’s park. I want to take my family for a visit ASAP. LOL
So, was that a 2 hour episode? My DVR only captured 1 hour but it clearly cuts off in the middle of something. How did it end? Did you get to see the commercials? Do we know how much money each team raised?
Leeza won the last challenge and won Apprentice. Congrats. I was hoping her calm, even tempered management style would make the difference.
I was worried because Trump has obviously favored Geraldo all season. Geraldo is largely responsible for that long string of losses the men’s team suffered. But Trump never particularly cared.
I was happy with the ending, and with Leeza’s commercial. Geraldo’s was a very Geraldo-centric look at Universal, and if they are going after young families, I don’t know how many would have ever heard of him.
I don’t know what Leeza actually does now. Is this a real job of some sort? Or was it just to raise money for her charity and now she is done?
Now she can come back and advise Trump on the next Celebrity Apprentice. Otherwise, no it was just for charity money. And good for her. This cast was overall quite weak, but she was a deserving champion.
