Thanks all for making me feel better re being mean to my staff about cell phones. Oh, the trip I am sending the girl on is to Walt Disney World with deluxe VIP treatment and food and tickets. She will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and on property at Universal. Not just some old boring training which is what got my goat.
Happy job hunting Big Kitty. Things usually always work out for the best.
Butters sometimes you got to do what you got to do. Reason number one gazillion forty why I’m glad I don’t have to do that stuff anymore. 
Nothing to do - literally! Our Creo server has gone down and I’ve done as much as I can on the drawing. Until I can access the server, it’s lots of thumb-twiddling.
I did make a quick dash over to FCD’s office. He’s working from home today and he needed a thumb drive. Rather than have to go there after work, I grabbed it for him now. So that’ll save some time.
Meanwhile, thank goodness for Teh Intrarwebz!
I, for one, would like to hear the mouse story. They are usually amusing. Please let us know whether this is a catch and release mouse.

To those going, I hope you have a marvelous time at the march! I did my somewhat weak part by ordering a mug to go with it. 
My wi-fi is not working. I am not happy. Spending the afternoon with trouble-shooting and Comcast to get it fixed. Spent a few hours last night. I know how to re-set, soft power down, hard power down people! I get to do it all today again with them though. 
'Beamer did not getting too angry yesterday, but he did get his feelings hurt twice. I thought the girl child was going to be the one with the teen age hormone wackiness. This should be fun, for a negative value of the same.
It was a pretty day today but it is starting to get cloudy.
Supposed to rain all weekend up here.
We got a little- very little - work done on the yard.
The cat flipped out a little at the curtains blowing in the breeze. I think he thought it was a great big eagle swooping in to get him.
I feel like I am moving in slow motion today. Not much getting done.
Home. The server came back, but I didn’t get a lot done this afternoon. It’ll wait till Moanday, since I’m now just working 4 days a week. Wonder how late I’ll sleep in tomorrow?

My step daughter’s (v.2.0) cat captured a live mouse. I took him out to the garden, and the little bastard beat me back to the house. He ran under the porch as I mounted the stairs.
Since I lost a bunch of weight last fall I have that same problem. Unfortunately, there’s this mass of extra Bumba sitting above my belt buckle that just won’t go away.

Dinner tonight will be Thai curry chicken strips. Let me ask for opinions. I cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into strips, then I coat them in a mixture of mayo and Thai curry paste, then cover them with panko and roast them in the oven on a cookie type sheet covered with aluminum foil.
but often, when we go to take them off the cookie sheet, a lot of the coating sticks to the sheet instead of the chickie. 
should I not use aluminum foil and just oil up the cookie sheet, or what?
I use a tray insert that looks like cookie cooling rack, but heavier duty and spray that (oil it). Put that over the cookie sheet to catch drips. The chicken (or pork chops or whatever) goes right on top of the rack.

I spray the foil with olive oil pam.

And no, the kitchen area was not cleaned today. I spent the day going through the archives of Scandinavia and the World instead. Funny, funny comic.
Sketties were yum! Plus I have 3 zip bags of sauce in the freezer for future yum. Tomorrow, I’ll buy some ground beef and make some meatloaves for the freezer. Yay for 4-day work weeks!
Try parchment paper instead of foil?

bumba, oiled parchment paper is good for 400F or lower. Higher heat will scorch it, so then is when you get out the roasting rack.
big kitty, I vote for a humane kill trap or a live trap if you have a snake. Catch and release rarely ends well.
I found out about what my quarterly bonus will be and it’s enough to consider getting both front teeth capped.
Got enough wrapped up today that I should, barring half the place coming up missing or a Mexico inventory adjustment, get out shortly after lunch. Saturday morning, I’ll be staffing the water station for the creek cleanup and then head downtown for the science march. I have a feeling that I’ll be tahred come Saturday night.
Tonight was a spinach, mushroom and swiss cheese omelet and bacon.
My mom is not doing so great. She seems so weak. Today I visited her at the physical rehab place and while I was there my middle sister arrived. We both ended up leaving at the same time and my sister said that she and our other sister had been discussing the possibility that my mom might not be able to return to her home, that she may end up needing close care we can’t give her.
But we won’t talk about that in front of Mom because the desire to go home is probably the thing that will help her recover, if she can.
swampy, how are unc and mom doing? I can’t remember if you have said that they are brother and sister, or in-laws.
