I didn’t see the “r” in the last word on my first viewing and was shocked for a half second.
Bawdy bawdy bawdy Beck strikes again. Put enough cough syrup in her and it’s Katy bar the door.
Though likely apocryphal, I like the story that marzipan was invented in the German town of Lubeck, when, under siege, the bakers were running out of flour and eggs but still had a good amount of almonds and sugar, so they made marzipan to help feed the town.
Lubeck, situated in northern Germany, is known for marzipan. Thanks to its location by the river, once it was a major port city. Many ...
I am badx3 in ways you couldn’t even imagine.
(I’m a direct descendant of the families of Lubeck, just so you know. They had to name it something )
I wish I has access to all you guys pantrys
There is unfortunately no marzipan in mine at the moment, or indeed most of the time; and only a quite limited amount of chocolate.
I like dark chocolate, but generally avoid it now. Milk chocolate does little for me so I really avoid it.
Cinnamon buns were awesome, haven’t had one in years.
I’ll take marzipan almost any way. I’ve even had the fun of making a cake iced with marzipan, which is quite common for wedding cakes in other places (Australia for sure, but also maybe Europe?) It was easy, fun and beautiful!
The Rittersport bars are a delight to me, but I like many of their iterations, so long as the chocolate is dark.
Sadly, there is no marzipan in my pantry at present, either. Must rectify!
The only thing I can think of with marzipan in it are Pinole Cookies, I love those.
My wife considers marzipan an amazing treat, so I always tuck a tube of straight marzipan into her Christmas stocking.
My kids love decorating cakes, and Marzipan is excellent for that. They take a long time with their dyeing and sculpting, and astonish me with their results.
Me? I can take it or leave it.

I suspect you mean Pignoli cookies? At least, that’s what came up in a search for Pinole cookies! They look fabulous.
You’d love straight marzipan, too, then, I expect. Don’t get started on those lovely candies mentioned by @solost – they’re addictive!
Yes, I hate posting from my phone.
Not an annoyance I currently have, but I would, too. Anyway, I figured out what you meant!
Ok. I am officially stealing “Marzipan” for the next name I give a pet.
Hands off!
I think it’d be a great name for a lamb.
Since there’s a thread for cinnamon, I am compulsively bound to mention the Selena Gomez cinnamon flavored Oreo cookies yet again. It’s like a curse.
Wait, that’s what marzipan is? I think I might have been getting it mixed up with some other confection.
