I had another idea for Fridays if no one is enthused about 8-Game. We could play a different variant of poker each week, starting with say 7-card Stud this week. Does that sound interesting? I think it would be a shame to just have another Holdem game two days later and not get any variety.

It just sucks having to wait a week. Same thing happened when I was stationed in Saudi. they had a poker tournament once a week and it sucked waiting. Just rambling

Good idea. I had avoided the 8-Game because I know only 4 of the variants, but now I would be able to pick and choose which tourney to enter.

That last hand was pretty wild: similar to how I went out (with a flush but up against a full boat; in this case, it was a straight with no flush possible against a boat).
