He was answering Icerigger’s question.
Thank you!
Why didn’t you just say so? Dang, talk about passive aggresive!
Yes, Thanks!
Still don’t know what the Taylor Swift video is an ad for. Unless it’s an ad for Taylor Swift.
Apparently it was a response to Icerigger’s request for a music source.

And with that, let’s drop it. And in the future, @mikecurtis, if you have something to say, just say it.
I never thought I’d say this, but Geico has a commercial that I don’t hate. Mostly because it’s only about 5 seconds long. On my station, it plays just before Final Jeopardy. It’s the letters in Geico with little arms and legs dancing to a bouncy jingle.
I enjoy the Ozempic commercial that gets constantly played on The Today Show: in which Emily, a nice mural artist with a lovely smile, goes about her career while working to keep her blood sugar down.
It tells a whole story of her day, mostly in pantomine, while the narrator speaks: taking reference pics of the town in and of which she’s painting a mural; interacting with the townsfolk (I think she’s got something goin’ on with the barber); attending an exhibition of her works; getting her assistant up to speed, and actually painting the mural. Any speaking parts of the actors are all of Emily stating facts about the medication while her listeners exclaim “OH!” All to a nostalgic soundtrack that goes “Oh-oh-oh-Ozempic!”, based on the song “Magic” by Pilot .
The mural itself is kind of a clever visual pun- the initial sketch looks like it’s going to say ‘Ohio’, but after being painted it’s actually the Ozempic ‘Oh’ with an exclamation point, and the ‘o’ at the end is the circular Ozempic logo. The big reveal of the mural to the townsfolk at the end is sufficiently visually interesting that I finally realized it distracts you from listening to the list of side effects.
I was NOT expecting that.
When the two actresses get to the wall, the one paints a big red swath and given her technique, it’s probably the first time she ever held a brush.
I have one. It’s a Pedigree commercial, I think. A girl in the hospital is dreading more treatment, but the doctor says something like, “we’re trying something a little different today.” Then she brings out a dog and the girl starts giggling and petting him. It gets me right there, I’ll tell ya what.

That dog has such a sweet face. And the little girl sounds genuinely surprised.
It took me a few viewings to notice that her Match avatar was a murder hornet. And that her hair was styled to resemble hornets’ antennae.
I’ve only seen this one online, as it’s 3:30, but I watch it through every time. I don’t know for certain if Santa is Steve Carrell, but the voice is pretty damn close.
I don’t know if this one has already been mentioned, but very clever nostalgia tied into the product being advertised - this is one I don’t hate:
I just watched the commercial specifically for this. I have to say, I didn’t see anything wrong with her technique there-- once you get down to small detail with an art brush you’d hold it differently, but she’s painting a large area with a smallish housepainting brush. And I’m a graphic artist (well, currently web developer) who would be perfectly capable of painting a similar type of mural.
I like the State Farm commercial with the beekeeper.
“You wanna meet the queen?”
“I’m not dressed for that.”
That is very well done.
Years ago Monster.com had a good one, The Guy with Big Legs:
I love this commercial, and not just because the dialogue is in (slightly stilted) Esperanto.
