Commercials you don't hate

I like these because the pigeon is obviously H John Benjamin one of my fav voice actor even though he only has one voice.

Right?! l Iurrrve me some puppy kisses but you gotta wash the slobber off after. Same as if Aunt Ethel gives you a mooshy kiss. I do enjoy that commercial.

For commercials not on anymore, I liked one for Christmas “I didn’t give him cookies, I gave him cheese!”

And I remember a back to school commercial showing a dad dancing behind a shopping cart, with two kids trudging along, and the music playing was “it’s the most wonderful time of the year”

The was one of those “got milk” commercials showing a rude acting young executive getting hit by a bus. He wakes up in a kitchen filled with chocolate chip cookies, and when he goes to the fridge, all the milk cartons are empty. Suddenly he wonders “Where am I?” and there are flames trickling through the got milk words.

I never drink milk, and chocolate chip cookies are great with any beverage.

I knew that voice sounded familiar, but couldn’t place it.

“4imprint certain” wouldn’t make a lick of sense in the real world but I, too, would be hesitant to trust my life to a guy who looks like he could be the brother of Mr. Bean.

…played by the brother of Daniel Radcliffe. The one who’s always landed on his head.

I’m watching the February 2 episode of Shark Tank a day later on my DVR. When I don’t skip through the commercials, I see a series of commercials starring Stephen Tobolowsky, who played the insurance agent Ned Ryerson in the movie Groundhog Day. The commercials seemed to be playing off the repeating day theme of the movie, which was interesting. Googling, that was the intention.

This one…

NM I can’t post the video or a link even.

Google Sonia & Bill Expedia.

I remember being struck by this ad decades ago, and always hoped I might find it again - lo and behold, the wonders of Google and Youtube have turned it up.

the superbowl commercials have started. i rather like this one with jason mamoa and fun cameo at the end.

Jason Momoa Talks ‘Singing and Dancing’ in Super Bowl Ad (Exclusive) (people.com)

I love the commercial for Disney’s The Happiest Place on Earth. It’s kind of a side view of two little girls in an audience, wearing their Disney princess garb, watching what must be a stage production of the princesses singing. The happiness, wonder, and excitement on their faces is adorable and touching. It makes me smile every time.

Excellent choice. Makes me smile too.

I’ve been enjoying a recent commercial with Jeremy Renner— not even sure what it’s for, maybe almond milk?

Renner is sort of dancing around his kitchen, making a smoothie and singing “l feel good” when his daughter walks by, swiping the smoothie he just poured into a glass. He yells out “hey” and throws a metal straw at her. But he didn’t throw it in anger, he used his ‘Hawkeye skills’ to expertly throw it so it lands neatly in the smoothie glass. She turns around and gives him a big smile.

For one thing it’s great to see Renner seemingly fully recovered, and it’s just a happy, positive 30 seconds in general. No idea whether the girl is his actual daughter or an actress, but the smile she gives him seems warm and genuine.

It is his actual daughter.

Cool, thanks for the info.

Ron Reagan’s ad for Freedom From Religion Foundation. Not only do I believe in the cause, I laugh when he says “I’m Ron Reagan and I’m not afraid of burning in hell”. I saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago but I just read that it was originally aired in 2014

Door Dash.
Flower Passion!

Here is one version- Yes Renner is great. But Almond Milk is an abomination and almods are horrible for the ecology.

It’s not the Almond trees fault it’s mono-cropped.
