One of the few times we had something nice ------ Dad got mother a set of Corelle early on when it came readily available to replace this ancient heavy crap we had (thing army mess hall). Mother being who she is was showing off dropping plates on to the table to show her family how terrific they were. Until she tried it for Uncle Henry and the one exploded into these tiny little shards we were still finding in nooks and crannies 5 years later. I most admit to giggling as I remember it. 
Substitute shine for light and I may just joi---------------- ah heck, I already have four shots sitting next to me. They can play catch-up.
Watch out; if you use too much of the Ben it could turn you -------------- ah, never mind. 
I worked, came home, watching hockey.

It was overcast on the drive in, and rain is on the way. There may be enough of a break tomorrow morning that I can mow the ditch - we shall see. Mostly, methinks the weekend will be spent on indoor chores.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 91 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. The big excitatement of the day is the installation of my new terlet at some point this mornin’. I also plan to accomplish mowage of da cave yahd but won’t get started on that until after terlet is installed. I figure I best be near the phone because I’m supposed to get a call when terlet and the installers are on the way. Maybe I’ll be amongst the first and they’ll show up around nine.

I, too, went to bed with Ben last night. Or rather half a Ben. The tree pollen is kickin’ up here. Looks like a turn the A/C on kind of day.
Samantha is all soft and silky. She had a good sulk all day yesterday and now she’s being sweet again.
Mrs. Plant (v.1.0) and I had Corelle.[sup] TM[/sup] She dropped a bowl of hot mashed potatoes and it shattered. I wonder if it is not so indestructible when hot.
On edit: They don’t break or crack, they shatter.

Butters, from your question last night, yes, I do this soccer stuff for free, it’s parts of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), which is run (at the local level) by volunteers. I don’t want anything to do with the “select” teams, don’t need the hassle or pressure they put on the kids and the ‘little league’ mentality of some of the parents. AYSO is a lot calmer.
Garbage is outside, including the Direct TV antenna that used to be on my roof. They replaced it with a ground-anchored unit and left the dish with me and it was in my garage for a couple months. Finally got around to calling them about it and they said just toss it out…guess without the wiring it wasn’t worth it for them to recycle, but still a bit strange to me.

Close to explode. Now after all these years I’ve known three pieces to shatter; all three were room temp and from the cupboard. I wrote it off to being like a tempered glass or modern windshields but I could very well be wrong about that.
My mom dropped a Corelle plate back when it was new stuff. It shattered into a gazillion pieces that lay of the floor and vibrated for the longest time! Really weird. And it was a room temp.
One pile of crap done. Starting on a short stack of crap.
