Yeah. You could say I am so ashamed of myself it went up in flames.
It was actually so cold a dreary today that I didn’t go shooting. I could have used one of the indoor ranges but I really prefer to avoid that when I can.

I’m approaching a full week with no food. I guess Gatorade and water can keep you going for a long time. It’s still annoying. I did try an Ensure yesterday, hoping I could manage at least that much. Nope. Up all night. My dear husband offered to get the kids off to school when I was stumbling back to bed at 5 am after yet another trip to the loo. He’s a sweetie.
I have sent an email off to the doc about what else I should do. It doesn’t seem healthy to me to drink only water and gatorade for 2 weeks, but what do I know.

The reason **swampy **won’t post pics of his new terlet is because he doesn’t want us to see the fuzzy seat cover he uses!
That or the dice hanging on the handle.

I spent some quality time out at the cee-mint pond. First time this season. Water is still a bit chilly but nice once I got used the temp. Now to contemplate dindin. Maybe a grilled ham 'n cheese sammich.
I returned the defective record player to BB&B - easy-peasy - then we went to Red Robin for a burger. Now we’re home, vegging the night away.
Indoor chores tomorrow. Rah.

When Corelle was still fairly new, my aunt got a set. My cousin was showing my sister and I that they could be dropped from a height and let one go from a 7 year old on a kitchen stool level. It shattered on the kitchen floor (in her defense, they lived in a slab built house, so there was concrete pretty much right under the linoleum).
My day had its ups and downs. I did manage to find about $10K worth of product but still have another $7K that I’m looking for. To top it off, I wound up apologizing for certain members of my department to the leadership of another. And then I got a bunch of crap from the cow-orker I wish would retire already when I asked questions about some work of hers from last month. I’m all for reasonable accomodation, but not even taking avantage of that and just saying I can’t / won’t so it because I’m old is a crock. Right now, the other guy and I are filling two positions until our coordinator can be back filled and having to redo her work isn’t helping. <rant over>

I worked, I came home. Doing laundry and making spicy teriyaki chicken with green tea rice.

I am intrigued by this green tea rice you speak of. How is it made?
I have read of making rice with tea instead of water, lest you stand in suspense.
I make rice with chicken broth and garlic.
So, a woman of the cloth wouldn’t fit?
