I’ve has “The Red” by Chevelle stuck in my head for a couple of months now.
Also like “Fine Again” by Seether

Either “Closet,” “Murray” or “Strange Condition” by Pete Yorn.
That’s ‘Soak Up The Sun’.
I have too many favorite songs. . .
The Walkmen - We’ve Been Had
Graham Colton - Jessica
Queens of the Stone Age - If Only
Zwan - Honestly
Tea Party - Walking Wounded
OK Go - Get Over It
Norah Jones - Come Away With Me
Ben Folds - The Luckiest
ARGH! I could go on for days. I’ll shut up now, though.
Pepper by Butthole Surfers
Hate to Say I Told You So by The Hives
Anything off of Sea Change by Beck
Flake by Jack Johnson
Main themes from the movies Bombay and Brazil.
Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A (1st mvmt).
A MIDI version of Romance De Amor
(does anyone know any acclaimed performances of the above?)
And some Hindi songs I doubt any of you might know or like
I don’t care much for rap, if fact I hate it but this has been on my internal playlist since I heard it the first time the other day.
My favorite right now is Oh Yeah, and guitar instumental by Johnny A.
Sum 41 - Still Waiting
U2 - All I want is you
I don’t mind Your body is a wonderland by that Mayer character
I really like the song ‘All the things she said’.
Is there anything wrong with that?
Yup. That’s been my song of the week for oh, about a month now. in fact, I am listening to it right this minute.
I don’t think it’s possible for Coldplay to record a non-addictive song.
Ditto on John Mayer. I had to force myself to remove “Room for Squares” from my CD player recently because it was driving my husband nuts.
Now Coldplay is driving him nuts.
“All the Relatives,” by Christine Kane, a folksinger from Asheville, NC. I heard her play this song at a music festival workshop and I had to run right over and buy the CD. I’ve played it for several of my female friends, and they all agree it’s a great anthem for us girls who mystify the relatives by not signing up for the status quo.
Let’s see, what’s playing on Winamp Radio right now?
Yup - my current fave.
My favorite songs tend to change rapidly from day to day. Very occasionally, one will stick in my head for a while. There isn’t one stuck there right now, however. I guess the most recent fave would have been Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel by BNL. That damned song got stuck in my head and I sang it for a good, solid month.
“Watermelon in Easter Hay” by Frank Zappa
“Across the Universe” by the Beatles
the Kronos Quartet version of “El Llorar”
“Come Back Jonee” by DEVO
Gollums song from the LotR-TTT soundtrack.
“Estimated Prophet”- The Grateful Dead
This song is always floating around somewhere in my head, so it shouldn’t really count, but the version from 5/8/77 is amazing.
The song that I don’t hear very often that has been in my head all week is “Video killed the radio star” by uh…The Buggles? I guess. The worst part is, I’ve had the cover version stuck in my head, for some reason I think it might have the Pogues, but I have no clue…Ah well, it rocks anyway…
“Tomorrow” by This Mortal Coil. Brings back memories of my mis-spent yoof.
‘Yellow’ By Coldplay
great song…
I had an obsession with that one for a few months…
“Where do They Make Balloons” by They Might Be Giants, and before that it was “Our Lies” by Rasputina.
