CitizenPained, Some advice, presented without rancor: Get off the internet. Not just the SDMB, delete all your social media accounts, delete your photo sharing accounts, cancel other messageboard memberships, stop posting to comments sections of news stories. Post nothing on the internet except absolutely necessary work/personal emails. You’ve already dug yourself a pretty deep hole by exposing so much personal info in such an easy to find manner. At least you can stop digging.

The new name is kind of bland. I would have preferred The Artist Formerly Known as CP.
I think CageyPhilanthropist would have been a better choice.

Is there a post from TPTB about the namechange? I want to be able to refer to it later. I checked in ATMB and didn’t see one, which is where I thought that kind of thing was posted.
They are rarely announced (I think if a mod does it it gets announced)- it’s up to the individual to broadcast it if they so choose.
Old messages that were quoted use the old name (quoted before the name change), even though old posts get the new name. But if you click on the little arrow thing to take you back to the quoted post you can see the new name.
I believe that the administration doesn’t make such announcements. It’s up to the user whose name is changed to decide whether to announce it.

Clonopin isn’t a muscle-relaxant–it’s a benzo, and when benzos are combined with alcohol really unexpected things can happen with one’s mental functions. In fact, it could even be that that is the combination that did in Whitney Houston.
I couldn’t help but think of this thread when it came out that she was mixing prescription drugs and alcohol. 
I know I’ve considered doing the same thing that CP has. All I can say is that pain that won’t go away will drive you to do anything.
I have read this thread and the other CP/FJ threads with morbid fascination. I have a lot of things I would like to say to CP/FJ, but really only one thing that I feel needs to be said.
I grew up with a mother with unresolved mental health issues. It fucked me up something bad. I won’t go into specifics, but let’s just say there are enough similarities between CP/FJ and my mother that I fear her son will suffer the same issues I have suffered.
It is an unfair burden to put your mental health issues on your child. As much as you think you are insulating him from them, you aren’t. Every single action you take has an effect on your child. Your child knows you are suffering. You can’t hide it from him, as hard as you try.
I know you will read this and say to yourself that you aren’t my mother and I am not your son. You will say that the situations are completely different and deny culpability, etc. I have been in enough therapy groups to know that even if the situations aren’t truly alike, there are a whole bunch of us out there that are dealing with the repercussions of parents with untreated addictions/mental health issues/etc. and we can all relate very well to each other.
In addition to seeking help for yourself, please consider seeking treatment for your son. The longer this goes on, the worse the outcome for your son.

I wonder why the abrupt turn around. Perhaps it was after the doc said that they couldn’t find an embryo sac? If this is the case, then he goes from being a disease-carrying asshole useless son of a bitch to just a disease-carrier son of a bitch. I certainly wouldn’t blame him for tearing up the check absent a certified pregnancy.
This is an example how CP/FJ could be telling the truth while also withholding pertinent, extremely relevant information.
