It shouldn’t be TOO hard to sneak you a beer at El Arroyo…
So, to clarify from the various posts:
We are meeting at a) the fair, or b) el arroyo, at what time?

Palmyra - it’s 1pm at the Arroyo parking lot if you want to join us at the fair, or 6pm for dinner
technically, i’m not a minor, i’m just not of legal drinking age…

Did I mention that I talked to Hootee and she would be joining us for dinner? I haven’t asked her about the fair, but I’ll get around to doing that this week.

That’s okay. Being hip is an unworthy aspiration anyway. I prefer to be cool, which doesn’t have such a limited shelf life. Hip is of the moment and screams “me too!” Cool is eternal and quietly says, “me.”
Hootee update: I left a message on her voice mail but she hasn’t called me back. She is coming to dinner but I have to see if I can steal her away earlier in the day for the fair.
I think I may have scored 3 more fair tickets (brings us up to 7 free passes). How many of us are going to go to the fair? I’ll see if I can find more to save on the admittance fee. That’ll give us more cash for beer.

There is a slight chance that I may be able to score us an on-the-fairgrounds parking pass from one of my family members who is stricken with volunteerism. No promises, but I’ll try…and if I succeed in scoring it, then the whole issue of free passes will be moot.
We could scalp them for half price at the gate and get more beer money…or we could find some needy looking family and give them away to get more karma points…

You should be praying for bad weather. Rain means shorter lines at the beer booth.
I wont be at the fair, but I will almost definitely be at El Arroyo. My schedule is like a woman…it changes its mind faster than Texas weather…
