My best friend in the world is coming in town for a visit tommorow and I haven’t seen her in almost a year. I’ve been told that all my plans are cancelled and she has total control of my life for the day. I was going to protest, but seeing as how I have this beautiful young lady up on the “hopeful wife-to-be someday list”, as the number one and only pick…I’m letting her have her way with me 
Hopefully I’ll make one eventually…but as for tommorow…

And I think I’m safe from being stalked by you, Grace, for reasons you know well. So if I should need a ride home I’ll happily accept one from you. It may be a moot point anyway - Mrs. Chef and Chef Jr. will probably stay for dinner, it’s just a question of whether they conk out before I want to leave.

Heck, Slashy, this isn’t a problem at ALL. If you read the thread, you’ll realize that we aren’t talking about tomorrow. We’re talking about the 21st, which is a week from tomorrow.
So now if you back out, we’ll KNOW you just don’t want to be with us.
But Chef, from the sound of SkySlash’s post, he may not be recovered by next weekend!
What about you Zyada? Can you make it to the fair? The more the merrier. I’m still trying to see if I can come up with some more tickets. No sense paying for entrance if I can score some passes.

Chef, while drinking the place dry before y’all get to El Arroyo does have some appeal, I’m considering the fair, also.
Life’s in a bit of a turmoil at the moment with this emergency car buying so I hate to make too firm of plans just yet.
If I go, I’ll probably go straight to the fair and catch up with y’all there, somehow.
