DFW Dopers: Bubba Ho-Tep is coming

Ah, ok. Teriyaki good, sushi scary  I realize I/we really should be more open-minded about these sorts of things, but we like to experiment in more controlled settings. Getting adventurous with foodstuffs can end up detracting from the enjoyment of the excellent company if it goes bad.

Enjoy,
Steven

Trinity Hall serves good food so we can eat there. They have your traditional Irish pub style foods like shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, chicken curry, steaks, etc.

And if that still doesn’t sound good, you can still get a burger.

BTW, I hope you get to feeling better Zyada. I miss you! I haven’t seen you in a looooong time.

Hey Grace! It looks like I’ll be in town, after all. Is there any chance I can either grab a ride with you, or get directions? I don’t know where this Angelika theatre is.

Call me! Legolamb and I are making a day of it. We’re taking the train to the Dallas Zoo and then we’re taking it to the Angelika.

If you don’t want to do the zoo, the Angelika is right on the corner of Mockingbird and Central. Pretend you’re driving to the Burger House. When you turn on Mockingbird, cross over 75, and the Angelika is on the left side. Turn into that shopping center and the Angelika is on the far end. Or, if you don’t want to drive, take the train from Parker (it’s behind the Kohl’s on Central) and get off at Mockingbird.

Yup, pretty easy to find. It’s the plaza with Cafe Express on the corner of the block and Starbucks/Urban Outfitters/Margarita Ranch/Gap on the inside.

See y’all there!

So is it as cool as I think it is? And what’s up with the Matrix flick this weekend?

Well minty, that depends on how cool you think it is going to be:) If I had been expecting a serious movie I would have been disappointed. It’s a cheese-flick with the typical “indy” serious reflection moments.

I think Matrix is up for Friday night.
