Um…23, currently temping in DC awaiting my call to begin Foreign Service training (if it ever happens). Love music. A lot. Big fan of it. Movies are cool, don’t go a lot. I like trying new things, especially new foods. And traveling. I love traveling. Oh oh! And baseball. Big fan of baseball. Basketball is cool, too. I enjoy working out, but I sometimes forget to go for stretches at a time. Which means all the progress I build up wears down. Very sad. Reading is good. And the beach. Nothing better than lying under the sun at the beach. Although, you wouldn’t know it by my paleness where my shirt is. I’ve got a lovely farmer’s tan. I like talking a lot. Perfer a nice quiet place where everyone can chat to a noisy bar where you have to shout in someone’s ear to get your message across. Beer is good. And other liquors. I like cooking, although I don’t do it much. If you saw the state of the kitchen I share with two other guys you would probably understand. I’m something of a slob, although I do clean every once in a while. Sex is good, too. I’m pretty good at it, although always looking for ways to improve. I like dogs, too. Especially big dogs that like to fetch. Good times.
Not looking for a relationship right now. Deathly afraid of them. Although I’m quite willing to have a monogamous relationship as long as I don’t have to admit I’m in one. Self-denial is fun.

SWJM, 25 (for two more weeks). I look a little like Terrance, but act more like Phillip. Non-smoker, light drinker but with high tolerance. To normal to be a true Geek but too geeky to blend in with the Norms. Compulsive project-starter, rare finisher. Spends way too much time with music and reading the 'Dope. Consummate performer, on violin, piano, and voice. Engineer by trade and in desparate need of vacation.
Devotee of the lively arts, as well as The Daily Show, the Onion, South Park/Futurama/Adult Swim and lots more cartoons, Food Network, Discovery Channel. Wouldn’t be caught dead watching “reality TV.” Loves movies but can’t ever seem to find anything worth owning. Current goal: trying to real all the Ian Fleming James Bond books in writing order. Will never read “Harry Potter.”

Why is this HotOrNot so damned addicting? Is it the amazement that a spectacularly beautiful women can only average a 7.7? Is it the bondage model because, well, she’s a bondage model and could be interesting to invite here for the “Ask the bondage model” thread? How about the Asian girl who looks like she is fresh out of an anime and leaves a depressing, blank verse message that sounds totally phony?
Count me in that crowd.
However, I must admit that if I were single, and if I were looking, the SDMB would be a great place to get an intelligent open-minded partner.
I first discovered Hot Or Not when it was featured in Weird Earls a year or so ago. It gets old after awhile, but for the first few weeks, it can be a real addiction.
