Election Day [Week][Month[s]] [Year] 2020 follow-along thread

Fuck, Brain Willaims says, “Let’s start with a very important state.” Thought it was going to be Michigan. It was NY

Sooooo, I’ve been slammed with work all day. Are we fucked, or…

Eh. Never mind. We might be.

My cable box died.

CNN app keeps crashing from overload.

I’m on my second pint of the evening.

Help me SDMB - you’re my only hope!

Too early to call.

Biden is killing it so far in PA.

MUSIC to my ears!!

Anyone else confused about Virginia results? Some sites are listing it as a Biden win, but with Trump having 60% of the vote.

With or without mail-in votes?

Well, that’s a pisser. Hagar had a lot going for her, and I’m not just talking about the motorcycle.

He had a chance to win going into tonight. FL was likely going to Trump. It’s his home state really. Trump had to win it.

Biden wins NJ, the Loser wins AR.

If it does come down to PA (and AZ) as seems likely, then the whole Trump “must stop counting mail-in-votes” thing may actually come into play. That’s why we needed a landslide, so much harder to steal!

Yeah, I don’t get VA.

I have no idea.

John King just pointed out that only 15% of the vote from Fairfax County has come in.

Ohio is tightening but from rural areas. The Democratic strongholds haven’t reported anything in awhile. Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati (well, the counties they are in) are at a slightly lower reporting rate than the state as a whole so that early sprint is over. Ohio, not PA, might be the most central race of the night.

Obama and Biden proved that well for eight years.

The country was better off when they left than it is now.

I won’t be concerned until/unless Biden loses both GA and NC. If that happens, change my diaper.

I really want AZ to start reporting.

The Politico site is brilliant. You can also select by state and look and live counts by county. Also on the bottom of the main page you cam toggle the key states and see what they do to the chances of victory for either side.
