Thank you. Is there a good source for the meaningful votes still being counted? I’d like something more like what MSNBC was doing before the networks made their calls, and less like the NPR or NYT sites where numbers are being indifferently loaded, with little to no commentary.
I am not sure what the other sites were like but the NYTimes site has running updates on the side commenting on various bits as they happen.
Meanwhile, in Scotland, the Ayrshire Daily News manages to find a local angle on the story.

He should still be working to get a stimulus package done. President Carter kept working to get the hostages out of Iran in the lameduck period after being losing re-election.
I wish the media would follow this advice but the way they follow Trump around reminds me of Denis Leary’s old bit about how no one wanted to change the channel for 20 years after JFK was shot live on TV. Trump is a continuous parade of “I can’t believe that just happened” moments and the more desperate his situation becomes the wilder his actions will become. That’s some must-see TV right there.
I have read that with the two senate runoff races in Georgia McConnell might be interested in getting a stimulus package through so the republicans in the Senate race look better.

I think that’s right. Expect it to include a big funding bump for the CDC (headquartered in Atlanta) and for McConnell to effusively praise Purdue and Loeffler for their work on crafting the package.
