Fox’s polling outfit has a reputation for integrity, actually. I assume they have some reason for this but, honestly, I do not see this in the numbers. Votes expected from Trumpy counties are like 300-400 thousand greater than from Biden counties.
Biden lead extended in AZ just now so maybe the call was right
It’s looking more and more like 2016. Just a different map.
This is why I’m just going by the AP (via NPR). Not ABC, not Fox News, not CNN.
I only believe a state has gone one way or another if the AP calls it, shuffling around to different news sites is just ridiculous and mind scrambling.
lol Reince Prebus is thanking CBS for not calling AZ for Biden [like Fox News].
The CBS commentators are joking that they’re going to use it as an ad. Hilarious.
Fox calls Ohio for Trump.
So far only Arizona and NE-2 are different from 2016. Biden must get a lot of post-Election Day votes in PA, WI, and MI. There is nowhere else to get them.
Yes. They called Obama '12 more or less perfectly. They were also the ones predicting that Latinos might break more than expected for Trump this time.
That graphic clearly shows that Trump wins.
Maricopa county is currently reporting at 77%. The total number of uncounted votes is likely greater than all the other counties combined.
Same here. Essentially all the counted ballots in AZ are from early votes. Everything from today still remains to be counted, and that will skew heavily Trump.

what have the Dems done to get their votes"[/quote]
Nothing. They nominated Biden. The last choice among all Democrats who are even remotely progressive, hell not progressive, just a little to the left of center. Dem primary voters bought into the whole “most likely to defeat Trump” and “he can work with the other side” stuff. If it had not been for COVID, the election would already be over in a Trump landslide, with Biden as a candidate.
Dems once again pick the worst possible candidate. Biden, Hilllary, Kerry, Dukakis.
Anyway, too early for this. We can talk about why Biden lost if he actually loses, the odds are still in his favor
They currently have Biden winning the popular vote by 1.3 million.
Oops, sorry, the question was what have Dems done to win over hardcore Republicans. I don’t think they can
It’s 209-118 for Biden at this moment. It’s the same as the Google/AP result.
No, that graphic clearly does not show that. It actually shows Biden up at this moment, 209-118. It also shows Trump leading in some states that have yet to start reporting early votes. But it clearly does not show that Trump wins.
I feel sick.
That may be true but just to clarify, this is a function of a fractured electorate, not insider politics. The challenge we face in stopping trump us the same one that other pluralistic democracies face: how different constituencies can unite under one banner to take on a common nemesis.
I don’t care if Biden is projected the winner at this point. We as a country - not just the Democratic Party establishment - had a collective civic duty to put a stop to Trumpism. I don’t think we did it, and I think we are in very deep shit
Me, too! (11:52 p.m. ET here now). LOL’d in my bed, and my husband yelled up from the basement, “WHAT?!”
Thanks for the laugh.
Ok. I guess you don’t see all the states they have indicated are “Stronger Trump Lead”
This. Although I’m not sure what we could have done to stop it. These people have literally had an alternate reality constructed for them. How to compete?
