Election Day [Week][Month[s]] [Year] 2020 follow-along thread

I see very little information regarding the two competitive districts in Maine and Nebraska. Most results seem to ignore these. CNN has Biden getting one electoral vote in Nebraska. Is this a final projection? I see NewsNation also has one for Biden in NE, and one unallocated in Maine. Anyone have any idea how close ME is?

A single vote from one of those two districts can have a huge effect if Biden loses PA but wins Arizona.

I’ve been hearing “the coters are stupid” for a long while. If you don’t know how to get the stupid voters and your opponent does, it’s on you.

That cry of socialism can only work if you do a poor job of being inclusive. When you only want the “socialist” policy to benefit some other group and it doesn’t help much of the in crowd, then the socialism label can stick.

Reach out to more than just the people you identify with the identity politics that has been the trend the past decade.

But the problem is your opponent is getting ‘stupid voters’ by constantly screaming lies.

Turns out I should have said minutes. CNN is saying Oakland County (suburban Detroit) just released results and Biden has taken the Michigan lead. Associated Press agrees.

Can I personally say as someone who didn’t run Biden’s campaign that our system of elections is stupid, the democrats are stupid AND the voters are stupid.

Not even in the same zip code as reality. You have a fascist on the ballot. I don’t care if the candidate isn’t some mythical ideal of what you think a good candidate would be, Biden is not a fascist. That should be enough right there to win every single vote in the US. But sadly, Republicans are okay with fascism as long as it’s their fascist.

There is a very large voting block of people in this country that make less than 500k/per family, include all of them and you coast to victory.

Why don’t they? Both parties are entirely beholden to big money donors.

There are voters out there who if you asked whether they approve of The Affordable Care Act you’ll get a yes. If you asked if they approve of Obamacare you’ll get a no. Obamacare as a name was initially made to be a dig at the president for trying to bring in socialized medicine and take away people’s freedom.

I’m not sure how Dems can ever appeal to these kind of people.

So it’s basically down to PA MI WI NC GA NV and AZ.

Looks like NE 2nd is being called for Biden. Maine is still up in the air and I can’t find any good data for the 2nd district specifically, as opposed to the state as a whole.

More arrogant thinking, I am not surprised. You worry too much about the “other” guy and what YOU think he represents.
Worry about your OWN option to put forward.

If Biden takes Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan, that will put him at 270.

So it’s basically down to PA MI WI NC GA NV and AZ.

Biden still has a path to victory. It ain’t over. Not ‘til the fat lady sings.

Exactly.

I just woke up from a few hours restless sleep. Looks like Biden has Mich and Wisc leaning his way, and if he gets those, nothing else matters, right? Plus, GA and PA are looking decent for him as well with NC probably going against him.

Is that the current summary?

I’m dyin’ over here…

Hang in there!

Well, by just calling it The Affordable Care Act, apparently.

All three are looking likely at this point, right? He has very small leads, but most of the remaining ballots to be counted are mail-in ballots that are more likely to be democrat.
