Evil Dead Mafia II - Teaser and Sign-Ups [Game On!]

I’m definitely not vanilla.

You’re not clear – did you track me or not?

lilflower – Was Total Lost your vote yesterday? And who did you try to target on the mass-block night? (And why?)

I did not.

My vote yesterDay was on Suburban Plankton. I didn’t target anyone on Mass Block Night. I sent a PM to story clarifying if I could use my power that Night (since my PM implied that my power started on a Day) but I never heard back from him that Night. When I did hear back, he told me that my question was moot since the entire Night was blocked.

Here is the exchange:

And since I anticipate that your next question is why I targeted Total Lost, I did so because she had a few votes on her yesterDay and her playstyle had also seemed much quieter than usual to me.

Another possibility, Normal, is that you’re our Vigilante. Does a Vig normally get a shot every night, or a limited number?

You voted for Suburban?

Oy – I honestly have no idea what to tell you about reporting results.

Yes, but it was pretty late in the Day.

Nice! I will be more involved toDay I hope.

NETA: Crosspost –

Can I request a slow-down to the fishing, Oy? Sooner or later you’ll approach the truth and I’ll give something away and the town will be the worse for it. I’d like to end the mystery on my own terms, if possible. Unless I wind up dead first.

Vigilantes typically get a shot every night, but there are a lot of possible variations and storyteller is not really “typical” as a GM, anyway.

Natlaw, whenever you have time to turn up with your list o’ links I’d appreciate it.

Well, not to fish, but when’s that going to be? We’re definitely on top of this game - if you’ve got info, this might be the time to share it. Also, if you’re not Scum then you’re kind of implying a lot about your powers, which will make you a target. Now, if you’re quietly achieving good in secret, then fine - but if you’ve got anything you need to share, this might not be the worst time.

Wow. We really are moving right along. Sorry to see you go NAF. Buh-bye Ed.

It isn’t unusual for a player who has been protected to be given some indication of same by the moderator. So I don’t know if we can draw any conclusions about Normal or Chipa until Normal decided he wants to tell us what he knows.

Dunno.

I was already a target on night one, apparently, when I’d said nothing. The situation has not appreciably changed. I suppose scum might have an investigator, but there’s no guarantee they’d use it on me.

I think I’ve already said everything I need to, haven’t I?

It varies, but Normal is right. If it is a standard vigilante, they get a shot every Night.

I’ve had games with one-shot vigilantes, too, and other variations. I’ve had games where the vig. has a gun that doesn’t always fire right, giving them a failure rate.

Hard to say.

And of course the last Evil Dead game, where there may or may not have been a vigilante (can’t remember), but there definitely were two serial killers.

I think,

vote: Hal Briston

I’d have gone Mahaloth before Dawn, but not now. I’m still suspicious of lilflower – single-shot investigative backup is SUCH an easy claim, especially with four deadites down – but I really can’t argue with her choice of target, so … again not now maybe, eh?

Hal’s giving no one anything to work with.

Sorry all, I kinda neglected this game last weekend. I think I’ve got the bookmarks more up to date now. I’ll do the vote count tomorrow unless someone beats me to it (hint hint).

17 player ~13 town, ~2 scum and 2 PFK (unless you think Mahaloth lies).

Of the claims I do trust then in this order: Drain Bead, Oy!, Mahaloth and lilflower.
The latter and most recent is kinda convenient in how it re-uses the role PM Idle posted and with the timing since she got some suspicion Yesterday if I remember correctly. I needs to take a closer look at that.

I do want to point out to the any remaining investigators and/or masons NAFs idea of claiming. It looks like that even without another investigator when come close to matching the number of scum + pfk in (semi-)confirmed town.
Especially if we got a vigilante to clean up the unconfirmed pool although the deads can be explained by just two killing PFK + scum so far (I forget if Strongman is extra kill or unblockable kill). I guess two kills doubled up on NAF last Night or a doctor or blocker picked right.
