The post immediately preceding mine.
No - didn’t they tell you?
Dirx is on Town’s side. So no chance for you winning this one
You are forgetting that Normal has presented a very good case for the scum not wanting to kill until Natlaw has run out of talismans. I think it very possible that the 2 nights of no-kills were due to the scum not wanting to kill.
If the scum did nothing last night, it wouldn’t matter who brewha blocked or who Natlaw protected.
It does seem likely that town would have a role-blocker and no one else has claimed that title. So that makes it seem likely that brewha is town. It still worries me that the only one who can confirm that brewha is a role-blocker is OAOW.
@ Natlaw – I should just shut my mouth and let the rest of you argue it out. It’s so damn lucky I’m confirmed right now, because I can’t keep anything straight.
It just appeared to me that you were being evasive about the questions I was asking you. I voted you to pretty much get this answer.
Really, my reactions up to this point have been far from defensive. My calling you out on what could have been a slip seems more offensive than anything. And by offensive I mean actively trying to find scum - not actively trying to offend!
The other thing that bothers me is that you say that you don’t see a differnce between these two scenarios.
-
I say I blocked Texcat, then later say I blocked Hal
or -
I say I blocked Texcat, but put in a couple of uncharacteristic words in that post that identify Hal when I point them out later.
-
could be that I blocked no one and changed my story later.
-
could only mean that I knew I was being deceptive about who I claimed to have blocked and was planning on telling the truth as soon as I could.
Here’s the issue I’m running into right now. The only way that you could have known that Texcat would have known that she was not blocked would mean that you, Texcat, and Hal were all scum. At this point, I don’t believe Hal is scum. And I believe that Texcat is scummier than you. And, since you are voting for Texcat, I’m inclined to believe that you and she are not both scum. So,
Unvote Total Lost
Vote Texcat
I know I haven’t posted anything toDay. I’ve been at a client site most of the week and I was not able to get to the internet with my personal computer. Posting from my phone was really just too annoying. And now I seem to be coming down with a nasty cold. I don’t think I’ll be able to put down a vote toDay, although I am happy with either Total Lost or **Texcat **being lynched. I’ll check back before the end of the Day and if my vote is needed, I’ll vote.
So you believe the Mod lied and I’m in fact Scum?
Or you think I’m a PFK/3rd-party and Mahaloth lied?
Or… why is it you think my lynch would make you happy?
You are voting me because of something Total said?? I obviously did not know you had not blocked me again. I posted a scathing accusation of you setting me up in between your saying you had and then hadn’t blocked me. But you are voting me because Total says I could have, should have, would have figured something out??? Just, ack.
NETA: And, brewha, btw could you tell us your opinion of OAOW? In your posts last Night, you said you might block me, but might block your most suspicious OAOW and Mrs. McG. Were you really suspicious of them? Earlier you said you were leaning town on OAOW. Could you tell us what you think of them now?
I’m not sure why you quoted me. I was pointing to McGinty’s post making a case against OAOW as representative of my thoughts behind my vote on OAOW.
This whole page is weird. First, Total Lost brings up a case against McGinty in response to a post that was pretty much relying on a case McGinty made against OAOW, and then lilflower apparently goes against her own investigation for reasons I can’t fathom by saying that she’d be willing to vote for Total Lost.
Because of Total? Absolutely not. I’m voting for you because I blocked you two nights ago and no one died. That’s a fact. I don’t know that you are scum. I don’t know that you are town.
Yes, I’m also suspicious of OAOW, but I had to do a cost benefit analysis. Worst case scenario if I’m wrong and OAOW get’s lynched, we lose a town investigator. Worst case scenario if I’m wrong and we lynch you is that we lose a vanilla townie.
Look, we’re not all gonna live through this. At this point we need to narrow the field of unconfirmed - cause that’s where the scum are hiding.
Also, if scum picked a role to make up, chances are they’d make up a vanilla role. One they wouldn’t have to prove.
I was only leaning town on OAOW because he confirmed that I blocked him. But, now that I think about it. If he had denied I had blocked him and I were lynched because of it, that would definitely implicate him. So, it’s a null tell. The only thing that he’s done that I could see as scummy is the delay on the Tom Scud book acquisition reveal.
The only reason I ever wanted to lynch McGinty was due to her lack of participation. You can get a read on someone who’s not playing.
And, to be perfectly honest, I’m almost ready to vote for Total Lost again. Due to this:
Are you saying that Story confirmed you? I don’t recall seeing that post. You’re not saying that your PM quote is impossible to fake, are you?
He’s accusing lilflower of acting strangely since she claimed earlier to have assumed Idle’s power and was told by the mod that he was non-deadite and yet she says today she would be happy with his lynch
For the record, let me say that I find OAOW way scummier than I am, and about a gazillion times scummier than Total. Yes, losing a vanilla is not a big deal, and losing a town investigator is a big deal. But I think playing it safe that way is exactly what OAOW was expecting when he claimed. Playing it safe in that way is bad for town. I think you should vote who you think is the scummiest, and if you don’t town should hold you accountable. If you lynch me tomorrow, I really hope that the town votes OAOW next, and then looks at who didn’t want to vote OAOW.
What exactly has “town” investigator OAOW done for us? Has he led us to lynch any scum? Has he told us anything we didn’t know already? Why didn’t he use his alleged coroner type power on the trickster, whom we know absolutely nothing about? Why did he decide to use it instead on Cookies, who we already knew had the ability of planting sperm? I suspect because he was hoping to lead us on a wild goose chase after the people infected with sperm and detract us from hunting for the scum.

Day to end in about one hour.
This pings me very much the wrong way. The Mod told lilflower that you were not a Demon, assuming lilflower is telling the truth. He did not tell lilflower that you were not Scum, and you know very well that Scum could have a human member. You played Evil Dead 1, where the Scum godfather was human.
It doesn’t look like anything can save OAOW now anyway, but you very much have my attention, Total. Despite your Danish goddesshood.
EXT - THE CLEARING IN THE WOODS, AGAIN
Wanderers, Total Lost, and Texcat stand in a neat row near the woodchipper; all look tense.
NORMAL PHASE
One of them must be a Demon.
BREWHA
Let’s just chip them all and sort it out afterward!
The camera moves to TOTAL LOST, a fair-haired, quiet young woman wearing glasses.
TOTAL LOST
I think that sounds like a bad idea, personally.
The camera moves to Texcat, an unremarkable young man.
TEXCAT
I agree. There must be a simple way to figure out who might be a Demon.
The camera moves to Wanderers, a giant blob of pulsating flesh with no limbs from which emanate dozens of stalks, each one terminating in a brightly colored, inhuman, bloodshot Eye.
WANDERERS
Definitely. But how can we possibly tell?
There is a long pause. Everyone regards the three candidates for a moment.
One and Only Wanderers, Sphara, the All-Seeing, who was Scum (Investigator), has been lynched.
The Night begins now and will end at around 3:00PM on Monday afternoon. Please submit Night actions by this time.
