You know, I don’t totally hate this plan. It is a compromise that could give the town a lot less benefit from the book than it potentially could bring, and it will likely expose vanillas but other than that I don’t think it’s all that bad.
I will ask Story about how the book works, if I keep it until it is taken from me or if automatically goes back to the pile at the end of each cycle.
I wound up working last night, and have consequently spent the morning packing up for a short trip, so I’m trying to read through the last 50 or 60 posts to get up to speed before I take off…
My suspicions yesterday lay on Oredigger and Mrs McGinty. The former for his treatment of the ‘Romanic leaving the cabin’ situation and for his sudden move to “vote no lynch”, and the latter for his insistent defence of Romanic’s actions. I’m not sure I fully understand the case against Chipacabra, but I suspect that’s because I haven’t been able to give full attantion to the goings-on here since yesterday afternoon.
As I mantioned before, I’m out of town beginning in about 20 minutes, until late Saturday afternoon (Pacific Time), so I’m going to miss the end of Day 1. I’ll have no access to a computer, and I’m informed no cell coverage where we’re staying. With that in mind, I will not be casting a vote Today. With still over 48 hours remaining until Dusk, there’s plenty of time for more revelations, and I don’t want to get stuck with a vote on someone that I can’t remove.
Good luck all, and I’ll try to get fully caught up before Dawn.
I too like **Stan’s **plan[sup]TM[/sup] provided the Book can be returned to the pedestal by NAF. But until we get some more information about the book’s mechanics from **storyteller **or **NAF **(who’s information is suspect until confirmed Town) it will be hard to determine the best course of action.
Another plan could be seeing what you can figure out about the book, either by using it for a short period or asking storyteller. Then you can tell us about it. Then, maybe we can Vig you or something to confirm you were telling the truth.
Hal is one of the cool kid. I learned young that you do what the cool kids tell you to, no matter how seemingly silly or dangerous. I could probably survive the drop.
