Heck, I would LOVE to see Swampykins in that picture! Especially with fish-net stockings or maybe something in more a pink and white instead of the traditional black. He looks pretty good in red as well. 
Now that I’ve said that I clearly need to get ready for a vacation.
Today is my Saturday and yet i get to do work today. How much fun! At least it is lovely and cool out, so i may be extra adulty and go do yard work.

We had 22 inches of storm surge in our downstairs and lost two vehicles. I did call the car insurance. On the downstairs hubby does not want FEMA or anyone poking around down there as it is all business stuff and he intends to take the loss on his taxes. Really all I have to worry about is my screened in porch which is not screened now. That is a couple/few hundred at least. The deductible is more than that. So all in all we were very lucky. I just have to get used to the new normal for a while.

I survived the last day of insurance basics. My brain is fried. I can’t wait until I get the survey for the class. I have suggestions. Oh boy, do I have suggestions, mostly about Suzy Overachiever in the front of the class who kept sidetracking everything with her “I don’t understand” questions that were answered five minutes later in the next slide. Only it took us ten minutes to get to the next slide because she would not. stop. asking. stupid. questions.
Back to irk tomorrow. More training, but this time it’s learning my actual job duties. Best part? Suzy Overachiever works in a different department in a different county.

'Beamette tried going back today for the first time since concussion. She got sent home early, as her symptoms returned. I will take her back to the dr tomorrow and get a detailed set of instructions for her to take to school. I’m not sure she’ll back to school this week at all.
This week can hit the road any time now. Any. time.
I got to the doctor’s office this morning and the receptionist told me Missred, you’re appointment was yesterday. :smack: Fortunately, there was a cancellation. Then when I got to irk, I had to straighten it out with my boss to be conpensated for today. Oy! I’ll be glad to go out of town Friday.

Just got home; I’s fried. 2ish hrs ago I stopped at Wawa, where I was paid to get a soda. (I needed some caffeine for the ride home). It was $1.05, I gave him $1.10. A nickel spit out of the automated change machine, but when I looked in the cup, a couple of people must have ignored their change because there was > $1.65 in it. Winning! 
Then I went across the street to the ER; luckily, there was no line for the bathroom; otherwise, it would have been an emergency!!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 63 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 87 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. I need to do some errands this mornin’ which include pickin’ up suits from the dry cleaners. We must spiff up and attend a weddin’ on Sattidy afternoon over to the church house. We shall sup upon fried chikin livers, peas 'n carrots, N.O.T. 'n gravy and rolls.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I suppose I should purtify so as to go about the public.

I did a bunch of errands includin’ pickin’ up the suits and buyin’ a weddin’ gift. Some people complain about registries but I am glad for ‘em. I can go to a place and pick out sump’n the happy couple registered for and assume will be glad to get. Now I’m at da cave and in chill mode until time to commence with the makin’ of comestibles.
I am now up to eleven!!! calls about Medicare since 1 October (I suppose it being the start of Fiscal Year 2018 has something to do with it). Did some research and it looks like I qualify for Part A (no cost) and I’ll probably sign up for Part B, but I do not plan on adding any of the ‘alternative’ insurance since I’m still paying for Blue Cross/Blue Shield from work.
Hopefully they’ll run out of companies before I run out of patience.
(I know, should be in min-rants…hmmm)
Otherwise not much done on the day. Still got soccer practice tonight with the 10U girls, but with the sun going down at about 6:25PM, the practices are certainly getting shorter.
swampy, neither my niece or nephews have made any serious sounds (at least that I’ve heard) about impending matrimony, so I haven’t had to have a clue yet.
spidey, I’ve left change in those blasted little cups more than once at the grocery store (self-serve checkouts). Guess someone had to restore balance to the National Economy.
