I am beginning to think that the refrigerator repair person shall not show up today. Grr.
Other than that, headache day. I’ve done a little playing with Pepper, but otherwise will spend most of the day hiding in bed.
I’m home. YAY!! It was a very busy day at work but now my weekend has begun. Dr. appt tomorrow at 9:50, but the rest of the weekend is unscheduled. Rain is promised part of the time - FINALLY!
Don’t tell my daughter, but my sister is planning a baby shower for her when she comes up for Thanksgiving. * SHHHHHHHHHHH!!!* Very thoughtful of her.
That’s all for now. **FCD **doesn’t want supper, so I need to figger out what to feed myself.

I’ve officially started training. Looks like they’ve assigned me to a good person. Can’t wait until I get to try the calls on my own which will probably be next week sometime.
The kid bag has been delivered, supper is et and now I’m sitting down to finish Dad’s birthday card before I start packing. I’s tahred.

Repair person showed up, and the needed parts were broken. He also found more broken things. We are now ordering parts on an “emergency” basis and going round 3 on trying to get the fridge fixed.
'Beamer got in more trouble at school. 'Beammette’s head is still broken.
I’m really pulling for this week to be over.
On the plus side, Pepper pup has a blast at the dog park and went swimming in the lake.
My “day off” featured a nuisance trip to the DMV, an annoying quantity of errands, and irritation at how far the money doesn’t go.
Also did feature some good fried chicken and pineapple beverage.
Next week, I start a new schedule. Monday-Friday, 8-5. Commute might be a touch more manageable on the way home, and getting a little more time with DH will probably be a good thing.

The local shop didn’t have one quite the right size, so they’ve ordered one in, and it’s not arrived yet. Oh well, it shouldn’t be long, and that means I don’t have to sit in and wait for installation guys today like I was going to. It’s lovely and sunny, and the rest of the week looks a bit grim, so I’m not complaining too much.
Looks like I might have found a part-time cleaning job as well, despite not really looking for one. It’s holiday cottages, someone else on the course works there, and said they’re really nice. Got a trial shift next firday.
Plus I have the student rep interview/balloon silliness tomorrow. I’m trying to think of an alternative presentation as well, just in case it works out not feasible to hand out balloons to everyone. Just watching me make one wouldn’t be the same.

Rain is supposed to move in Sattidy night and Sunday is supposed to be stormy. We shall see. No huge plans for the day. I will go see Miss Becky at the nursin’ home this afternoon. We shall sup upon majik intartoobz pizza.

Why did I keep waking overnight? I had a hard time falling asleep in the first place, despite being tired, and just after 6 (thanks to the windows being opened) our neighbor woke me when he revved up his big ol’ diesel truck! So I’m up. I need to remember to leave at 9:15 for Dr appt. I’d set my phone, but it’s in the bedroom and I don’t want to disturb FCD. Ergo, I need to rely on my brain. :eek:
He wants to see the new Blade Runner movie, so I’m guessing we’ll go this weekend. It runs almost 3 hours!!! Break out the Depends!!!

FCM, rather than diesel engines, I get the flight path from Huntsville Airport and about 8 flights leave between 6-7 AM. They apparently took off to the South today, so iI got to sleep all the way to 7AM.
Expecting rain late Saturday and most of the day Sunday from the same source that swampy is expecting, according to the weatherman, so I might even get something constructive done. Only other activity planned is coach the U6 girls on Saturday morning.
I motivated and took care of some errands I had put off because I didn’t want to do ‘em. Now I am back at da cave and considerin’ nappage. I feel tahrd this mornin’.
Drinking a coffee and listening to some tunes.
Videogame orchestra rehearsal tonight.
Nut what about asking for a few volunteers to come up and demonstrate the lesson as you go, or just using the front row? That way you don’t have to have a complete second lesson ready to go.
We might be taking the first trailer trip this weekend, over to the Coast. We’ll see.
And I’m back. All blood numbers are excellent - go me!!! Groceries have been procured and stowed, and I’ve got a dozen eggs boiling. What next?? Lunch, maybe??
