Fall into a MMP

Had an episode of tachycardia Thursday night. My HR was 170. I was riding Miss A. when it started. I got home, took a little yellow pill, and went to bed. Yesterday was better. My sister and BIL spend every October in Gulf Shores Alabama and they were evacuating today. I haven’t heard from her and I’m scared and I know that’s why I had tach. She’s my only sibling and I love them very much and am worried. In other news, it’s raining in no. IL. which is much needed.

**Sunny. Hugs. **. Mooommm. I am doing laundry using a bottle of hurricane donated laundry soap that has the scent of Escape. What the hell does escape smell like? I thought of you.

In other news there isn’t any. House is still a wreck but I am slowly working on it.

All in Nate’s path be safe.

**wetOne **. You are also her only sibling so take care of yourself.

Silly **Butters **- escape smells like FREEDOM!!!

The pot roast was yummerrific. Laundry is all in and put away. I need to empty the dishwasher, then start refilling it. But for now, I’m just going to assume the afghaning position.

Howdy Y’all! Home from the weddin’ doin’s. The church was pretty full which I thought was nice. The coffee bar was good. It was a make your own kind of thing. Dinner was sallit, rolls, baked chikin boobs, roast beast, sweet N.O.T. soufflé, little baby N.O.T., and green beans. There was beer and wine available but neither of us partook. There was also iced tea and water. We didn’t hang around for the cake thing cause it was startin’ to rain and we just wanted to go home. So glad to be in da cave!

WetOne what Butters said. You take of your self.

I think shortly Ben and I shall go to bed together.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

One inflates balloons; when one “blow them up” they go KABOOM, which is not a good thing.

Did a 5k, thru a historic & famous cemetery ; high on a hill overlooking the river. It was BOOtiful & had SPOOKtacular views.

Had a great tailgate, and Canes even won, even with the refs screwing us.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 85, rain this mornin’ and mostly cloudy this afternoon. I did not have a good night last night. Trouble sleepin’ and even a little fever then chills. Thus I shall stay in da cave today. I do not want to be about the public. Besides I heard a Homily and had Communion yestiddy so I should be good to go.

Now I need more caffeine and should figure out what to feed rumbly tummy. I feel a little ick so maybe some yogurt to see if that stays down and go from there. Fun times.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Sis and BIL are in Atmore AL so they are safe. Heart rate is back to normal but I have a bit of um, digestive upset. Meeting a friend for Chinese for lunch.

I woke around 3 and never really got back to sleep. About 5:30, **FCD **decided he was getting up, so I was getting up, too. We had breakfast at Bob Evans and now we’re home - he’s futzing in his shop and I’m going to wipe down the kitchen cabinets in a bit.

It started raining last night, and we’ve had light showers on and off for hours. Hard to tell from the radar whether we’ll get any of the big band that’s moving up from the southwest. Regardless, this will be an indoor day.

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off today. I’m got a hockey STM party ,then home to watch football.

WetOne, glad Sis and BiL are safe. Now take care of yourself.

Feel better, swampy.

Twas warm enough last night that I both opened the winders & turned on the ceiling fan. Awoke to sound of deluge falling from the sky. At least it won’t be so dusty as we’ve gone, I think, three weeks w/o rain.

I can see the sender, subject, & first line of an email on my phone. I got not one, but two emails from “Chase Online
with a subject of “Debit/ATM/Pre-paid Card Upgrade
& the first line was “Dear Chase Online Customer

I was somewhat suspicious of these, not because it was a generic greeting instead of personalized with my real name but because I don’t have a Chase card. :smack:

Before I clicked on <Report Spam> (for whatever good that does), I looked at the supposed “To” address, instead of my email address it’s smrfs@…

Holy #!t, you're telling me those [little blue f@#%ers](https://www.wired.com/wp-content/uploads/blogs/geekdad/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/smurfs-660x232.jpg) are identity thieves?!?!
Big band of rain is starting now.

I cancelled lunch. Will do Chinese next week. It’s beautiful in no. Illinois. Sunny and crisp. A great fall day. I will work my way to the barn later and hope to ride.

I never trusted Smurfs.

Raining here, too. Glad I got new wiper blades yesterday and didn’t give in to the urge to wash my car. Looks like a good day to curl up on the couch with a book and a whole lot of hot tea. My sinuses are feeling better but now my throat is slightly raw.

Seems like Sunday is Rain Day, it’s wet outside here and due to stay that way for a couple of days according to the weather reports (I’m in N. Alabama so catching part of the hurricane, but right now nothing more than a rainstorm and not a particulary violent one).

Still it’s a good day to stay inside; but I’ve torn my pajama bottoms all to heck (that’s what I call them at least) so probably need to buy new ones while I’m thinking about it.

Now need to go and break fast and start on the Sunday Sudoku puzzles.

Oven has arrived at dealers, and will be arriving here tomorrow, and be installed while I’m out studyin’. Of course, I’ve been spending the whole week thinking of awesome foods that require an oven, and come tomorrow night, I won’t want to bother with any.

Or there will be vast quantities of cake generated, it could go either way

It’s not wet here for once, I just went for a walk, but it’s decidedly autumnal.

Doggio, I found [del]better[/del] more appropriate accommodations for you when you come up to next year’s [del]Gathering of Degenerate Drunks[/del] Hockey Booster Club Convention. It’s kinda like the Hotel California, where you can check out but they won’t let you leave.
Booking info for Pennhurst.
You’re Welcome!

Marie Antoinette’s Bakery? :o

Howdy Y’all! We purtified and went to Waffle House around eleven this mornin’. Whatever was wrong with me last night left me hungry! I had their cheese aigs, grits, bacon and raisin toast with apple butter and a waffle on the side and et it all! OYKW got the same thing so we’s still stuffded. Any food intake the rest of the day will be via forage. I took a beastloaf outta da freezer a while ago to thaw out in da fridge for tomorrow. I know there will be mac 'n cheese (homemade even) and vegetative matter TBD.

WetOne glad sis and bil are safe. Atmore. That’s where the big prison in Alabammy is located. I remember ridin’ along the highway around the prison and seein’ signs that said “Do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers.” Words of wisdom.

Happy Sunday!

Swampy a friend of my first wife picked up a hitchhiker close to the state pen here in Orygun and took him home  (She wasn’t known for making good decisions)
He gave her herpes, stole her car, and wrecked it. Maybe he was homesick. :dubious:

I had tachycardia off and on for a little while after they put in my pacemaker. One time it didn’t go away and they took me into the E.R. and shocked me. Please take care of yourself Wet One.

Speaking of grocery carts, our local Kroger is reorganizing the inside of their store and making the aisles wider, I think. Doesn’t matter. When they get through putting all the advertising displays in the aisles, they’ll still be choke points. :dubious:

Wifey sold all of her fusible glass, and, against my advice, also sold the rack I built to hold it all. My rack was sufficient for it’s purpose, but was never strong enough to be moved. Of course it fell apart, and we had to go over to the buyers house and put it back together. Also I had it screwed to the wall in our studio. The buyer didn’t want to screw it to the wall so we had to reinforce it against racking. Anyway, it took a while, so Wifey took me out to dinner after, my choice. We went to one of the fancier restaurants in town and had a wonderful dinner.

Several Krogers have been remodeled in LR. Perhaps they take a tax deduction. Did they remove the floor covering and polish the concrete?
