Fast Food Junkies

I like subway sandwiches! I eat a foot long turkey sandwich on wheat bread with everything packed on it! It’s sooo good!

For those of you unfortunate enough to live out of the Whataburger realm, I’ll inform you of what you are missing: taquitos…mmmmmm

There’s a Mexican drive-in in my town that has great food. I love their rolled tacos and people who have moved away from here have been known to ask their friends to ship them tacos from this place.

Their French frys are good too, especially for crinkle cuts. They cook them in the same grease that the tacos are cooked in.

Interestingly, while still one of the best Mexican restaurants around, food wise, I think the food was even better in the 70s, before the remodeled their building, got rid of the flies and raised their health board rating from a “C” to an “A.”

I heard from a Chinese friend of mine there is a place to eat in Shanghai that hasn’t washed their main cooking wok in over 500 years!!!

Once every six months or so (and I probably shorten my life expectancy by a year each time) I make it to Waffle House for a double bacon cheesburger; hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered; and a waffle, of course.

mmmmmmmm …
There is a local deli on campus that serves up a mean sandwich. My fave is a peppered beef on dark with mayo, mustard, swiss cheese, and onions. Steamed to perfection and served with a HUGE load of fries.

And Goldberg’s Deli in Asheville has a damn fine corned beef reuben, but it’s not quite fast food at all.

Double Whopper with beacon and cheese. And a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel from McDonalds. Sometimes I like to buy fries from McDonalds, and from Burger Kind, and mix them together. Then other times I get some of Wendy’s and some of this place called Checkers, and mix them in with the others. It can’t be THAT bad for my body.

Subway. Turkey breast on Monterey Cheddar bread. It’s like six inches of heaven on earth.

Sonic French Fries. Hands down, best fries made by any fast food company. I love the crispiness.

Taco John’s. They aren’t too common but occasionally they pop up in weird places. They have the BEST tacos I have ever had. Plus they have Mexi-Rolls. drool

Subway: Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on Honey Oat bread.
