Oatmeal Cream Pies. Nutty bars, which one must eat layer by layer like a KitKat. Swiss rolls. Starcrunch treats. Anything holiday themed. I haven’t had any of these in ages. I will be visiting the Little Debbie park.
I have a far simpler answer -
The one in front of me.
Either the Ah Caramel or the Passion Flakie.
Sorry for fighting the hypothetical but Vachon is Canadian equivalent of Little Debbie.
I don’t do much with sweets but Nutty Bars sometimes find a way under my skin and I’ll have some. Same with the brownies, so cloying and gummy.
My wife is sad because nobody makes a gluten-free version of the Nutty Buddy Bars.
I just saw Little Debbie Nut Bar and Oatmeal Creme ice cream at the grocery store.
Pecan Spinwheels. I like unrolling them and then take bites. The cinnamon is really good.
Option 2 is Little Debbie Honeybuns
Was the Oatmeal Creme the Blue Bell brand? Tres excellent.
It’ll kill you. Meant for baby cows. Not people.
I had to look up my favorite to make sure it was a Little Debbie product. It is! Although Hostess makes them too. Cream filled chocolate cupcakes - love love love! I also like the gingerbread cookies.
Mickey’s - that seems really familiar to me. Was that a 70s company?
I like them! But I don’t like much from LD’s lineup. Unicorns, Frosted Fudge and those orange cakes. I’m actually not big on LD; I was raised in a TastyKake household.
How long have TastyKake pies sucked? They were fantastic in the '70s and '80s. Last time I had one, it was really lame.
The “double decker” version I have in my hand has 40 g sugar, 450 mg sodium, and 19 g fat.
I’ve been on a mission the last couple of days to find individual Little Debbie snacks. I’ve been unsuccessful thus far, but have only visited places within walking distance.
I went to the grocery store and got a box of the Peanut Butter Pies. QUITE good, they taste very high quality. They are near impossible to eat from the fridge (not as easy as Oatmeal Pies) but I got through one after it sat out a bit. They’d probably be better if the peanut butter cream wasn’t SO sweet but these are really good and I’ll be getting more!
I did also find something new called a Kazbar but it just occurred to me that these are Hostess snacks so I won’t sully the sub with a review
Swiss rolls are the #1 choice for me with oatmeal pies coming second. But I like much of their other stuff too.
It’s been probably decades since I’ve had anything by Little Debbie, but I remember them from childhood as being not very high quality—the “poor man’s Hostess”: cheap, but tasting like they were made out of wax. They’re no longer nearly as cheap, so I haven’t even been tempted to buy some, but if the quality has actually improved, maybe I will.
Are you talking all Little Debbie snacks or specifically the PB Pies? I’m only talking about the PB Pies tasting high qualify. I can’t think of anything about this snack that could taste of wax (other LD snacks, yes very much so waxy).
All—I don’t remember ever trying the PB pies, although I vaguely remember something similar to the Oatmeal Creme Pies that had peanut butter and jelly.
