I’m not seeing anything about the 1619 Project, although that may have been subsumed into CRT. The Republican running for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Horne, mentions both on his campaign website.
[Current Superintendent] Hoffman offered $5,000 to each history teacher who would teach the 1619 project. The 1619 project is fabricated history designed to make students hate America. Here are some examples, and Horne’s historical rebuttal:
