This is for the discussion of the TV show as its own entity. The books do not exist in this thread. No book comparisons, references, anything.

The current open spoilers thread for discussion of both the books and TV show is here. More of them may open up with a different niche, but that seems to be the main one at the moment.

This is the episode that is supposed to “break the internet.” I have no idea what is going to happen. Can’t wait!

I may not watch until tomorrow, so here is how I feel right now. :covers ears and gouges out eyes:

I must avoid all internet for 24 hours.

rumor has it 12 year old boys will be happy.

Well… shit.

That was some bullshit cutting away from Stannis.

Was the calvary that rode against Stannis the sellswords who abandoned his camp? And the final scene reminded me of Julius Caesar in the Roman Senate on the Ides of March.

Damn… Didn’t see that one coming…

Just stopped by to say that aaargh, nothing happened in this episode! I’m not watching this show again! At least not for another ten months or something!

Fuuuuuuuuck.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Fuck.

Jon Snow was one of my unkillables…baaaad mistake.

Just imagine what it’s like trying to watch an episode with him!

That was a lot of things happening to a lot of people. Jon cannot be dead. Bran has to come and save him. Let me make clear, I do not know if Bran comes to save him and GRRM is a serial killing asshole but he just gotta!

Brienne finally did something she promised she would do.

Arya, Arya, Arya. . .

Whose to say Ramsay won’t send his hounds after those two?

The wait is gonna kill me.

No, he was just badly outnumbered because half his army left and if you noticed during the wideshot half of what he had left immediately took off as soon as the Bolton army charged.

Seriously though. I did not see that ending coming. I figured the kid might do something stupid, but not that. But if they were going to do that anyway, why did the First Ranger guy open the doors for them in the first place? Seems kind of silly to me.

Leave it to GRRM to make the scene where Jaime tells Myrcella that he’s her incest dad somehow sweet, then horrifying, then tragic.

Kind of annoyed that Danaerys’ plot has sprung yet another loose thread. Still, I was practically giddy seeing the Varys’ reunion with Tyrion. I love those two together.

I’m a little bummed that we didn’t get any closure on Loras and Margaery this season. I like them and I’d like to see them come out on top. At least we know pretty clearly that Cersei is coming out on bottom.

ETA: Oh yeah, yay for Kennelmaster Girl’s Cranium losing the fight against Cobblestone Walkway. I’ve been waiting all season to see that matchup and it did not disappoint.

ETA2: If Jon is truly dead, which would blow, but not be surprising at this point, at least he did what he could to help. He saved a bunch of Free Folk and sent Sam off to study. Could be that’s the most good he could have done with what he had.

red woman is bringing Snow back to life.

Great season closer!

How in the hell did Ramsay get an army that large? Even if Stannis had been at full strength it still wouldn’t have been enough.

I had that feeling about the ending. Man, oh man… there go some fan theories. If it holds up. I can’t see how it can’t though.

Jon Snow, Dany and Tyrion were the only characters I considered to be unkillable. The ending shocked me, but I really really think next season Jon will somehow be saved/brought back to life. Melisandre is there, I bet she figures in somehow.

I have not read the books, so has the show now passed them? Do we need to worry about readinf spoilers anymore?
