Game of Thrones 7.03 "The Queen's Justice" 7/30/17

I prefer The Last Harpy.

Tarly’s son, Dickon.

Thanks. I’ve forgotten if he had a scene since last season?

Preston has some interesting and inspiring ideas. Unfortunately I think there is quite a bit of BS in there. Reaching for things.

He was just on the previous episode where Jaime called him Rickon.

IIRC Dickon/Rickon is the younger brother Samwell’s dad long favored, threatening to have Sam die in a “hunting accident” if he didn’t join the Night’s Watch and forfeit any claim to the family title.

Wait a sec, Rickon is a different character. He was the youngest Stark brother, who took an arrow from Ramsay. Was there supposed to be some significance to Jaime mistakenly calling him that?

He actually mistakenly called him “Rickard”, which is Ned and Benjen’s dad’s name. I’m not sure of the significance there, if there is any.

FYI, it sounds like future episodes are starting to leak, so be careful to avoid spoilers.

Just the next episode, 7.4.

Which I have just watched.

No spoilers, but it’s a good one.

The big HBO leak and ransom attempt released the E4 SCRIPT, and actual episodes of other shows. This mornings E4 leak was a separate thing apparently.

A whole day early? I wonder, why not wait until everyone else watches it? Is it your schedule?

I personally get a kick out of these online discussions about the show, so while I don’t want to stream it too late, I don’t see any reason to watch it early either.

Avoid YouTube like the plague if you’ve watch GoT videos on it, stupid suggested videos, damn it.

the story is they skip showing battles because they cost a lot to film. They only film about 1 per season due to budget limits.

Because I want to know what happens. I’d watch the whole season in a day if I could. I can be patient, but if I don’t have to be, why should I?

Seriously. Fortunatly, for me…there wasn’t much in the titles that hasn’t been speculated on.

Best. Episode. Ever.

Even the minor scene I couldn’t resist watching was amazballs.

Why wait though, assuming you had access? It’s not like watching it early would prevent anyone participating in the discussions.

Having not waited, I can answer that. If you don’t like three separate watermarks that are persistent throughout, and subpar video quality, you may prefer to wait.

I can’t wait to watch it again in full quality.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with watching it if it’s out, I just figure I’ll wait because 1) it looks better on HBO than on streaming sites, and 2) I like discussing it with others here on the Dope and elsewhere, so I don’t see a reason to watch it early when I’ll have to wait to talk about it anyway.

If it was leaked six months early that might be a different story.
