Just finished pulling the pork and adding onion and more sauce. It’s smelling yum!! Sweet N.O.T. fries on the side. Double yum!
Extended forecast shows temps in the 20s on Sunday and Monday nights. So I guess the banana trees and the spider plants need to come inside. One of the spiders is going to work with me, so this is a good excuse to do that now.

Doggio - I try to clean out everything I don’t use regularly. But it’s weird because there’s a bin of… Small stuff that I always think I’ll need a use for - 100s of pens, stacks of decorative paper, small mementos from good times, etc. That I know I’ll probably never use but I always make excuses to keep. I’m just glad it’s one bin haha.

Howdy Y’all! Firday has been survived. YAY! When I got to da cave I decided it was time to bring the outdoor plants in, so I prepared their Winter home in the dinin’ room and drug the plants in. Go Me! In a bit I shall begin to forage the fridge so a spot can be cleared out for turkey thawin’. Right now, however, 'tis beerverage time.

A pox on the scheduling people. We were told to be at the hospital at 8 AM. He’s been NPO since midnight with the expectation of having a procedure done bright and early. It’s now 3 PM and all that’s happened is they put a regular IV in his arm. Nothing connected to it, no procedure, no food. No happy!
Foragin’ has been accomplished. There is now room in da fridge to thaw a large bird for turkey day. OYKW is about to have him a soak in the tub. I just saw a teevee commercial for a colorin’ book for adults. Happy old and middle aged wimmen were colorin’ away. Plus, it comes with a DELUXE package of 51 two sided colored pencils! What more could you want!

Just went out to the twuck and the @#/ thing wouldn't start. My neighbor tried to jump start it for me to no avail. I talked to a mechanic friend in Texas, and he seems to think it might be the starter. @#/! I hate it when I have to spendmy bonus mo ey on something that isn’t fun.
Damn betcha. Bonus money is for hookers and blow dammit!!! 
Home from work. Tough day; they decided to run us at 100% speed even though we only have 70-75% manpower until after Thanksgiving. The good thing is we survived - the bad is that we’ll probably have a bunch of our best workers resign over this just when we need them most. Sometimes I think that even our management sucks and 99% of the time I really like them.
My mother called and told me not to come to the armpit this weekend. She is having work done at the house and says it’s all torn up and a mess right now.

Swampy my mother has the adult coloring books and pencils. She enjoys it and I’ve already bought her two books and some new pencils for Christmas. She thought I might like it but I don’t think so.
I guess everybody else will get gift cards. I hate to do that with the younger boys being that their father is an addict. Although talk has it that he has gotten a job and is cleaning up his act.
Dindin was tilapia and baked N.O.T.'s. Good food. Crock pot ranch chicken tomorrow; that’s gonna be real good. Sunday, we’ll have Thanksgiving dinner at the church. We’ve also been invited by our landlady to Thanksgiving dinner on, y’know, Thanksgiving.
Mom and I watched yesterday’s Jeopardy Tournament of Champions episode on the DVR, and then watched today’s relatively live. They were the finals.

So it’s a leisure 15 minute drive to work. The morning radio jockeys make it fun. I keep a drawer full of Tetley tea to get through the morning reports. Don’t know why but I love that in the morning.

I went out on a couple of dates with this girl in the latter part of spring. I was relieved when I thought she had as much non-interest as I did & that we would just ride off our separate way w/o me having to break up with her. It turns out she was really into me so I tried to make a go of it under the “if you open enough oysters, you’re bound to find a pearl” theory. But, ummm, no; she was more of a clam or mussel, meaning there was no chance of a pearl there so I dumped her later in the summer. I was told that I broke her heart.
Then, put it this way, I wouldn’t have been afraid for a pet rabbit, but iffn I had a lesser pet, say a hermit crab, I wouldn’t have been shocked to come home to a crab cake samm’ich on the table, which only reinforced the fact that my decision was the right one.
Thru social media posts I saw she was on a “great date”. So why if I want no part of her was I bummed to see she’s moved on? 
Got stuff to do still to get ready for the morning but I wanna go to bed now because I gotta leave tomor’er at 5:45, which is an hour later than Sun. That’ll make three straight weekends that the latest the alarm has gone off has been 5:40. 
I sincerely hope (but highly doubt) there will be time for nappage tomor’er.
