I read Jimmy Carter’s latest book, the whole book, since I’ve been home from irk. It was a good read. I highly recommend it.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 53 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 67 for the day and cloudy. Tomorrow night’s low is predicted at 33 Amurrkin (:eek:) and so is Moanday nights low. Then highs will creep back up to 60s and 70s with lows in the 50s. Weather be weird down heah.
I arose early cause we went to bed early. I pulled an all nighter even. Didn’t get up even once to pee. Since I’m up, I shall soon make myself presentable to the public, go to the Harvey’s Sto’ to buy fresh collard greens (they’re on sale there) and I shall also swing by the MickeyD’s close to the sto’ and bring us home a couple bacon/aig/cheese bizkits for brekkie cause I’m all nice like that.

Do you know what happens when you ignore the breakfast alarm of a cat? The cat gets tangled in your hair, you get little scratches on your nose and chin, your glasses get pulled off*, and the meows invade your dreams. But screw it. I slept until 6:30! Yay!
*yes I sleep with my glasses on - otherwise the cat knocks them off the nightstand and I can’t find them in the morning.
Up, caffeinated, off today. I shall go to the laundromat. it’s 35 outside, I may need to wear a hat when I take Gordie on his walk today.
So far this morning, I’v showered, thrown on clothes (don’t wanna scare anybody 
), thrown an aig sammich and coffee in a bag, taken a ride in a tow truck where I had a conversation with a sweet 4 year old named Lester about his ambition to become a tow truck driver like his daddy when he grows up and parked my hindquarters at the garage. Just waiting for the verdict.

The sun is shining bright.
I woke up too early and now I’m going to lay back down. I’m getting grumpy with the dog and the kid. The dog is staring at me and the kid is talking to me, they both need to go away.

I survived the trip to the sto’ and Mickey D’s. Go Me!
So, I went to Harvey’s for one item that would cost me two dollah with the little card saver thingy. $37.23 later, I walked out of there. I got some deals though and with the little card saver thingy I saved $7.09!. How thrifty is that! They had used whole cut up chikins on sale! They had ham hocks on sale! They had Mayfield ice cream on sale! I mean, on sale! Who could resist? I shall make chikin’ 'n dumplins for dindin tonight and N.O.L. tomorrow. Collard greens call for ham hock. The ice cream was an obligatory purchase as there was only one gallon of plain ‘niller ice cream in da freezer which is practically like havin’ no ice cream at all, right? Now there are two gallons of Mayfield Turtle Tracks Ice Cream to keep it company.
Now I’s tahrd. I’m havin’ a banananana nut miuffin. One weird thing happened in Harvey’s. A container of banananana nut muffins somehow accidentally fell in my buggy. Down south a shoppin’ cart is a buggy. Obviously they wanted to go home with me.
The question of the dzy: what kind of ice cream? 
It is the starter on the twuck. So $75 for a tow and $421 for the work. Bye-bye bonus. 
Just finished a big music arranging project. Time to start on more projects soon.

I made a grits cake for breakfast. Man is it tasty.
Up early and have the second load of laundry working. Haven’t dressed yet and am considering making this a ‘clothing optional day’, but I do have to drop some things in the mail so, as to not alarm and frighten the public, I’ll probably get dressed sometime…
Still have to clean the Bathrooms, but this is a lot more fun, so…
Well, I’m late to the darn party.
I hope it helped. Multi-day migraines suck. I’ve had an increase in migraine activity since I’m due for another round of Botox in three weeks.
Anyway, commuting…yeah. We don’t have an “on time” at my office. I can’t tell you how many conference calls I’ve called in to because I was stuck in traffic for no apparent reason. I’ve literally left 1.5 hours early to go 20 miles, and still didn’t get there on time.
Good morning!! We’ve been busy again. OK, we lounged around in bed till after 7 because we could. I got up at 5 and fed Higgs, then locked her out of the bedroom so we were able to snooze on and off for a couple more hours. We’ve been to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, to Lowe’s for a plug for FCD’s newly acquired bandsaw, and we cleaned the dryer vents, etc. It’s still making a weird noise and we don’t know why, but it dries the clothes and there’s no smoke or funky smells, so we’ll just keep an eye and nose on it. I also renewed the tag for our camper - the one we’ve had for 2 years and never used…
At the moment, I’m hearing the grinder in the basement. No idea what it’s for. I need to download a pattern for a hockey rink afghan for my nephew. And I’ve got a load of towels in the washer, to be followed by a load of sheets and unders. Exciting day, no?
