Logging off - MWAH!
Mmmm that ranch chicken, N.O.T.'s and on-YONS were good! We’re gonna chill for a bit and then go to Mickey D’s for ice cream so that ekemom can do some Graboid downloads (hereafter referred to as “grabbing some oids”.)
Hunger happened. Chikin 'n dumplin’s got ingested. All is well. Beerverages are good.
That is all.
Hot fudge sundaes are eaten. They’re not as good as DQ ice cream, but DQ ice cream is far more expensive and we ain’t got the cash for that. ekemom and I are now sharing an Ecto-Cooler while she grabs some oids and I read.
Spiderman in undependable, Oh Cute One. :dubious:
And I cannot type well.
I read that as Spidey in depends.
I need to go to bed.
I have been given to understand that he wears them only during serious bar hopping.
Do not be concerned.
Work went well. Not being my usual shift, I got to basically be a peasant with was really fun for a change. Bingo was good but its not as much fun since so many other straight people started attending. Its cool that the GLCC is getting oodles of money (well over $1million in 18 years and constantly sold out for the past 4 years) but it was just different and more enjoyable when us straights were like 4-5% of the crowd. I miss Rick (the caller and MC) asking us how it felt to be in the minority.
Did I miss something at the last staff meeting? :dubious:
The first band rocked, the second band was “meh” I had a lot of fun anyways.

How about some Leftover Salmon?
[/QUOTE]As long as it wasn’t canned salmon
Red - Eek! If you have a whole studio for your crafting I think my supplies will be a letdown in comparison! I haven’t gotten into Card Making yet; I got to a point where I had too many hobbies. Had to do some Spring Cleaning and pick a few to keep and a few that I had lost interest in to get rid of. I kept Scrapbooking (Photography as well), cross-stitch, and painting. Got rid of knitting (I found myself hoarding yarn and never using it), beading (again, I’d buy a ton of beads then never make anything), and a few others.
I work as a caregiver for adults with Developmental Disabilities - A few months ago I switched to Graveyard shift because they needed someone, and it worked for college. But I hate being up opposite hours of my S/O - and yesterday they announced they’re interviewing for the perfect shift! I’m applying for it on Monday - fingers crossed I get it! I liked staying up all night when I was younger, but now it’s just a hassle.
STOOPIT CAT!!! I’m going back to sleep.
I’ve discovered that one of my current motivations to move back to being lawfully employed rather than a self-employed contractor is that I want to decorate… Let’s hope it’s just some temporary nesting due to the weather being springy (stoopit thing can’t make up its mind if we’re in autumn or spring).
Good morning! Amazingly, Higgs didn’t fuss at all, and I woke myself a bit after 6, refreshed and ready to deal with Pugzilla! She’s been fed and she’s busily licking her feet and soggy-ing up the ottoman. Life is good.
luci - when I was young and single, I worked mids and I loved the shift, despite getting phone calls while I was asleep during the day. But in my later years when I’d have to do my share on the overnight crew, I hated it. I did it and I tried not to bitch too much, but it wasn’t a happy place. Thankfully, in my old age, the only reason I’m up in the middle of the night is my bladder or the idiot dog.
Today’s big plan is a trek to JCPenney to look at sweaters for my sweetie. Most of his are old and sad, so we’ll see what we can get him of the non-holiday variety. This is probably the best time of year to shop for sweaters, and many a dad knows…
Other than that, we’ll just wing it. Maybe while we’re out we’ll venture to WalMart so I can get a metric buttload of white yard for my nephew’s afghan. I like having unstructured weekends.
Happy Sunday!!
Up, caffeinated, off to work. Go to close down the pub afterwards.
[Mooooommmm!, Here is the perfect sweater for FCD.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 55 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 58 and dreary for the day. Today’s plans call for deheathenization and not much else. That works for me.
doggio egads! On the other hand it would be the perfect sweater for an ugly Christmas sweater contest.
OK, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. At some point I must also commence purtification for deheathenization.
Happy Sunday Y’all!
Yeah, doggio, I can see him wearing that to the office…
waiting
Gotta be a happy medium here somewhere on my mouse
I need it to scroll farther with the wheel but yet I need it to slow down to the line I want without it flying back and forth over the line
Oh well
