Grimm (half) season six discussion thread

Last Friday’s episode really challenged my suspension of disbelief. Apparently if wesen body parts are grafted onto a normal human’s body, they retain the ability to woge when triggered by… something?
I think the writers are getting careless/sloppy and it’s probably good that they’re wrapping the series up soon. They almost lost me when people started having babies, but my wife wasn’t inclined to give it up then, so I kept watching, but I’m ready for it to end now.

I thought the monster of the week was interesting. Never really thought about Wessens donating organs or body parts and what would happen.

Rosalee giving birth to a litter was sort of funny.

My wife and I looked at each other and said “Victor Shelley? Really?

Called it in post 15. That was pretty funny though, Monroe just kept setting one baby down on the bed as the next one popped out.

Well he woges into a crimson fish type right at the end.

Full name according to the credits is Charles “Red Herring” Lynk

Honestly.

Well, we know what is on the other side of the mirror. Apparently there is nothing to eat except people and wesen. And it looks like Renard is an ally for now.

There’s two more episodes, right? Interested to see how they wrap this up. There was more little girl glowy eyes juju going on in this ep, I think that’s going to get ramped up and have a big role in how things go from now on. I hope it doesn’t get back to Monroe that Nick ate Blutbad.

Can anybody recap the last episode? My Tivo recorded baseball by mistake.

NBC’s website has the episodes, no need for home DVR.

Holy crap! Did. Not. See. That. Coming.

Looks like Nick could really use some of those nasty Grimm weapons he used to have stashed in the trailer.

I’m guessing magic staff reconstituted with magic stick has some sort of reset power. Their story isn’t over…yet.

Why aren’t they using the magic stick to try to heal the victims? Nick used it to heal his palms just minutes earlier, so it’s not like the stick is gone or forgotten about.

I’m wondering about the stick too, but I guess that’s what “cliffhanger” means: torture us all until next week.

Yeah, when Wu went down I thought, “No! …But I guess it’s not unreasonable they would kill a major character near the end of the series–especially to show that the final big bad guy is really that dangerous.”

Then when Hank went down, too, I thought, “No way they kill two good guys–there needs to be some magic stick action now!” I guess we’ll find out next week.

When Eve started acting more human after being healed by the stick, I wondered if she and Nick would wind up back together, but they’ve pretty much cemented the Nick+Adalind pairing this season.

I’m glad they’ve been able to wrap up the series by tying this current story it into one of the original ongoing arcs–the keys. I wonder how much of a plan they had for the keys in the beginning.

Holeeeeey Shit!

The way that battle scene went down, so intense (even a bit corny) with both Wu AND Hank getting killed, I feel pretty sure they will be healed with the magic stick. The problem is how Nick can use it on them but not let the Zerstorer get hold of it. It would be too sad if Wu and Hank were permanently dead. No! Also do not want to see anything happen to Monroe or Bud and of course Nick.

Nick and Monroe looked so much younger in the flashbacks! Not that they look “old” now but it’s astonishing how much of a difference there is between the beginning of the show and now.

No! Not Wu! (oh, and too bad about Hank)
The problem with Nick using the stick to heal / resurrect them is that a) the bad guy is right there and b) the bad will see that Nick has the stick (if he doesn’t know already)

Series Finale next week  Hopefully they aren’t going the Blake’s 7 (or Angel) route…

I think Big Bad already knows about the stick and where it was. Why else go straight to where Nick was?

I was really hoping to see more WereWu action- you can’t power up a character like that and waste it on a few incidental fights.

For that matter, I’d like to see ZombieGrimm again, too. Give us some payoff.

If they end up taking the fight back to “hell,” would Wu (as a werwolf) and/or Hank (as… I can’t remember what they call mundanes that can see wesen) show up to fight at the side of our heroes? They didn’t really go too far into the mythology, so maybe all wesen go to hell regardless of their good deeds.

I loved the bit when Dad came to get her and she asked to play with her would-be captor some more, while he’s begging Renard to just kill him, especially since he did seem to be seriously considering arranging another “play date”.

I do wish they weren’t ending this quite so soon. We won’t get to see what the Blutbad/Fuchsbau babies will look like. I’m sure they’ll be cute, especially if they get Mommy’s eyes.
