Grimm, Season 3

ROFL! Now I am picturing the wessen dancing with Madonna…

Thanks. I thought they could recognize him at all times.

Maybe I’m not remembering right, but I thought that when Monroe’s parents freaked out when they saw Nick that they were in their human state.

Plus, wasn’t Nick there during the show when they were voguing (sic)?

Monroe’s dad vogued when Nick walked in - you see Nick’s reaction and then Monroe’s Dad state “he’s a grimm!”

Yes - but not within direct site of the vessen - and one suspects since they intended to be seen as vessen - it wouldn’t surprise them that Nick could see them.

Ah, right. :smack:

Yeah, I think it’s usually when they realize that Nick is seeing them–that’s when they realize he’s a Grimm.

Plus, at the carnival Nick was at the back of the tent and they had no reason to be looking at him specifically.

The writers have said that we’re going to get an answer in the next episode on how the Wesen recognize Nick as a Grimm.

You guys know it is spelled ‘woge’, right? Anyway, asking Nick to be the Best Man at a Wesen wedding is a horrible idea.

This latest episode was great. Nick’s mom is back! It was strange seeing her help Adalind. The Adalind/baby story is finally brought “home” to Portland. The confrontation at Nick’s house was fittingly awkward, but I thought they started to smooth it over too quickly. The baby’s powers are shown again. And the baby meets her Daddy–awwww.

And Nick finally asks Monroe what he looks like to the wesen when they woge. Interesting–and it explains the look of horror they have.

Has Grimm jumped the shark? It used to be a fun light-hearted little show but all of a sudden it’s all wedding dresses and wedding plans and mommies and babies. The baby is a total Golden Child everyone’s running around trying to save. Next week we’ll probably see Renard breast feeding with strap-on man boobs. How long before Monroe & Rosalie have babies, Nick & Juliet get married and have babies, and Monroe gives up his clock business to run a multi-species baby care center?

Except the baby is gone now?

It is? Okay. Nevermind. I was sleepy and forgot the final scene. Did they say where Nick’s mom was going? I’ll have to rewatch.

I don’t think they did, i think the idea was for none of them to know. And while i am sure it will be back at some point i am glad it won’t be the main plot of the show.

Looks like they put the baby on a bus.

I was confused by the whole Nick’s-mom-getting-arrested thing. Was it just a setup to get her in the same room with Adalind (and to separate Adalind from the baby)? Because it sure looked like a legitimate arrest to me, yet she is obviously not still in custody by the end of the episode. Plot hole, or did I just miss something?

All a ruse - but it had to look legit, etc…

It was a setup. Not sure if the arresting cops were told, “Go and pretend to arrest this woman,” or if they thought they were making a legitimate arrest, but Nick, Hank, Sean, and Kelly (Nick’s mom) knew.

The point of Adalind and Kelly in the same room was to let Adalind know that she had to give up her baby for the baby’s sake, and to buy time to let Sean hand the baby over to the royals.

What I don’t get is when Adalind connected to her baby. She got pregnant to get her powers back and then was going to sell her baby. After the Royal family turned on her all of a sudden she got attached to her baby. It seems to come out of nowhere.

Think we’ll see Sebastien again? I liked him, and we didn’t see a body.

I wonder if they’ll significantly age the baby by the time it shows up again. There’s only so much mileage you can get out of purple glowing eyes, crying and objects being telekinetically tossed about the room. May as well upgrade the little booger to a speaking part. Soap operas pull this trick all the time, so there’s no reason a show with actual magic and whatnot couldn’t do it, too.
