Grimm, Season 3

Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome

I can only hope that with [del]Rosemary[/del]Adalind’s baby out of the picture, we get back to normal beheadings of the week. The baby/Resistance substory is a snoozer IMAO.

She also gave birth to the baby. It’s not exactly unknown for a woman to bond to her child once the child is born.

Yeah but she’s a Hexenbiest. They’re supposed to be sociopathic.

Think Nick’s dad will show up next? Or eventually?

Leaving aside the larger political and cultural implications of an assumption of “maternal instinct,” it does make evolutionary sense for mammals to bond to their offspring, which are often born unable to take care of themselves immediately.

Hexenbiests in our reality:

Chelsea Handler
Ann Coulter

…and…

Rachael Ray?

Oh yes, good one. Giada too.

Probably.

Naw, not Nicks dad, that would be too prosaic, let’s have an angsty teenaged girl. That’s never been done before, right? :smack: < (smilie denoting sarcasm.)

We’ve been watching Grimm since it started, but they are seriously in danger of loosing me. Am I the only one?

Yeah. I am willing to give them a chance. It was just one episode.

The knight chess piece threw me off a bit, but I totally called it the instant she put on sunglasses.

The only way it could be worse would be if the angsty troubled little sister archetype had to live with Nick and Juliette. Hopefully there is a bus in her future. Mom needs a babysitter anyway.

My prediction, and I hope I’m wrong.

Prince what’s his name told Adalind that since she has the blood of a Grimm in her, Nick is vulnerable. I’m guessing she’ll take away his powers, and then trouble girl will give her powers to Nick so he can keep on grimming and she can finally live a normal life.

Nah. Angsty and Adalind kill each other, knocking off two contrived story lines at once.

I’m hoping that by the end of Trubel’s arc, she will decide to just let people call her by her real first name. What an annoying nickname.

From your finger-tips to G’d’s ears, please.
And WTF did the characters *think *was going to happen when they stole a newborn from it’s mom? That she was just going to say “Yeah, whatever” and go back to being a lawyer or whatever it was she did in season one? At least, Rosalie and Juliette should have seen this coming.

Why not send Adalind to raise the baby somewhere in secret? Would have been a lot smarter.

Adalind isn’t a reliable member of either alliance. (Sorry, been reading the Survivor thread – but the point stands.)

Truble cleans up pretty good…

Here in Oregon Grimm is being postponed due to a Blazer’s game. Last week it was on at 7:00pm or 9:00pm Saturday. This time it will be on 2:00am Saturday. Thank goodness for DVRs.
