Grimm Season 5

Then again, Hexenbiestism seems to be mystically transmissible. Maybe this is as well, so Wu could end up an uber-blutbad.

Grimm has been renewed for season 6!

Yeah, decent enough concept but the ‘plan’ of the wesen du jour was shit. Here, take my highly addictive gloop that is also the king of youth treatments, but go easy with it!

To be honest, I have not watched the last two episodes because the descriptions didn’t thrill me and as far as I’m concerned, the show has jumped the shark, finned it, hunted three pods of dolphins and sailed straight past any shred of plausibility with it’s complete lack of common sense and real life consequences for anything that happens.

As much as i like the show i hope this is the last one and they work towards a satisfying conclusion.

Yanno, clearly they figured the actress playing Juliette can’t act, so they made her into a robotic figure – and it turns out she does robotic badly, also.

yup -

‘act wooden, as if unfeeling’

however - the ‘sex scene’ was hilarious.

It was great. The best part of the episode.

I like how they’re handling the stick. It’s show to heal, but then the writing on the cloth indicates that it might be dangerous. The writers are good at suspense.

And as for Wu. Uhm, shouldn’t he only be exhibiting signs on a full moon? Unless they maybe they reveal that he’s becoming a Blutbad, or that he always was one, but it was suppressed until now. Nah, I’m jus thinking too hard about it.

I liked this episode, but I am worried about how many plot lines there are.

The tunnel
Renard working with Black Claw
The return of his and Adalind’s daughter
What’s happening to Wu
Adalind being a Hexenbiest again
Juliette/Eve apparently not completely over Nick
The healing stick

Fingers crossed the handle them all satisfactorily.

Did I miss it? Did we see directly that Reynard is working with Black Claw? I’m pretty sure he did NOT know about the murder.

What we saw of Reynard’s mom it seems to me that hexenbiests are evil, or at least they can control their impulses.

Brian

No, he didn’t know that whats-his-face was going to be killed, but afterwards he figured out that the campaign manager is working for Black Claw and was in on it. Even after that Renard seems to be going along with the plan to be the next mayor.

As Henrietta showed, they don’t all appear to be evil. And even though Adalind is a hexenbiest again she seems to be OK. Well, the law firm job might be shady.

My guess is that he is going along with it to get Diana back, since they promised him they could. If I’m right he will stop playing along now that Diana is back, or at least let the good guys know why he’s doing what he’s doing.

How the heck did Black Claw find her anyway?

I meant to say Hexenbiests are NOT always evil, or at least can control their impulses.

Brian

A few episodes ago when he brought up finding Diana with Adalind on the phone, I wonder if it’s because a Black Claw member brought it up with him.

I guess they infiltrated the resistance.

they are the resistance - I no longer think Miesner/Eve are with the ‘resistance’, but Miesner’s back/forth is confusing as hell.

and this will be the twist to the adiland/Nick romance - Adiland will agree to go with Reynard to be wife to get Diana back.

Then we’ll find out Reynard did all of this to get to Diana, and they betray the claw.

If Renard suspects Meisner of being part of Black Claw it could be the reason he hasn’t talked to anybody from Hadrian’s Wall about running for Mayor.

Why the heck do they keep aging Diana? Having been born towards the end of season three she should only be three at most. Okay, I get that they wanted her to be old enough to talk so they cast a 3 or 4 year old instead of a toddler last season, but why didn’t they stick with that kid, who did a passable job? Or at least an actress the same age? Kelly’s only a few months old, so very little time has passed since we last saw Diana, and this kid looks at least twice as old as the last Diana. I hope they decide to tell us Hexenbeast age faster than normal or something…
